Let's welcome Marquez North!

Can someone explain to me how we are ranked 43rd recruiting class with the addition of North, via scout. I haven't checked the others now I didn't expect us in 25, but somewhere around 30.

They probably haven't updated it yet. I don't follow Scout really, but they moved up to 32nd on Rivals and 25th on 24/7.

I feel like a major goober, because his commitment made me figure out this twitter thing, so that I could tweet him a welcome...

24/7 said North pickup put us in top 25. Read that in Callahan's article earlier. So you were correct sir!:good!:

Boom!!! First ever post on volnation...hoping North has swagger like some of the receivers we lost to the draft!

North, Bowles, Harris, Howard, Dallas, kid from Knoxville Catholic .... Seems like old times when the next class replaced the last class.

Our WR unit is loaded. You will have a 5 wide set next year that starts with Dallas, Croom and Howard. Then you put in two more from the roster of North, Harris, Jenkins, Blanc, Carter, Smith and Bowles. We have ten guys that are interchangeable next year.

The big question is how fast the freshmen are at picking up their routes and understanding the playbook. On paper though, we have one, if not the deepest, of the deepest receiving corps in all of college football.

Don't you know that Worley, Peterman and Ferguson are just licking their chops to get out and throw to these guys. I would be. This could also sway Dobbs to pick UT. Imagine getting the opportunity to throw to these guys would sway any QB in the recruiting game.

Do you all think with our Recievers being a strong point that Pig will get the move to RB? I think he is a perfect option for the spread offense RB position.
