i can see were u are coming from but i think it all depends on fall practice if a qb steps up and learns this offense i think clk plays smart then opens up at uf

Is there anyone who is on a visit this weekend that we didnt think was taking one because some guy said we have 20 visitors and I am only hearing about maybe 12-15 at the most.

i also think coach O will help clk alot with game preparation on both sides of the ball to get clk ready for sec footbball

conflicting reports about who came and who didn't. i doubt we had 20 show but I know that we had around that number possibly coming. Patterson def didn't show and I'm sure a few other's didn't but we still have a ton of recruits on campus and could make a huge surge into the top 10 in the rankings. 2 or 3 recruits puts us in the top 10 and there are rumors about possibly landing 7 or more which would probably put us in the top 3 to 5. this could all be bs but if it happens then it will be monumental and could make us a contender very soon. I really think that if we get several of these guys to commit on this visit then it could start a domino effect that leads to something big. I am very optimistic, though.

BJ Coleman sounds like he has the most potential but Nick Stephens has shown me the most on the field. I think Kiffin and Chaney can coach up either but Stephens seems the closest to being ready for SEC play. he only needs to improve his consistency and gain more awareness which he can develop with more reps in the spring. I saw some flashes that make me think he can be successful with the right playcalling and OL protection. Crompton is a lost cause IMO and should focus on academics.

i know here in sc they are worried about montgomery visiting us so is nc i believe even some of the coaches have bought into if coach O gets them on campus they are his

They can control it. There was an obvious lack of respect for the former staff by the players. They would never admit it but it showed in the way they treated them as buddies and disrespected them on the sidelines. The new staff will demand respect and Kiffin/Chaney will help him turn that emotion into competitive fuel. They both have good track records with QBs.

I do want to see what BJ Coleman is like with more coaching, though. He seems to have the intangibles of a winner and a leader but needs help with mechanics.

i hate to say it but i am not sold on reaves as qb coach might just be that uscjr the ole ball boy ran the show

u r right tx vol stephens was out playing crompton and had to worry about coleman and fulmer never gave anyone but crompton a real chance

I think Reaves was brought in for recruiting and as a favor. He gets a raise and gets to pad his resume. Kffin got to snub his nose at Spurrier and take a good, young recruiter from a rival. Kiffin is the real QB coach and will have Chaney working with them too. I'm sure that Reaves will assist but it will be at Kiffin's direction.

I have always liked sports so when I was like 10 my sister made my email sportsfreak and I kept it. I thought it was more fitting to be volfreak for this message board though
