Let's talk about Kentucky for a while

Yea this game won’t be a cakewalk win like some other fans think it will be. Kentucky plays good at home especially at night they definitely were off tonite especially Levis who played really bad. Can we win? Yea if we play clean and efficient. Our defense has played pretty well all season so I think they can keep Kentucky in check. I like our offense but it does go cold during stretches of games. It’s not a chew up the clock type of offense. Stoops will want to run Smoke and Rodriguez at us and control the clock and keep our O off the field.
Kentucky's offense sucks, it's sucked all year, and it's gonna suck on Saturday night too. They thought they had issues with MSU's tempo, they are about to get a rude awakening as to what tempo really is. WGWTFA

Kentucky could have 6 losses right now, I won't say lucky but fortunate to win all of these 1 score wins versus
UT Chattanooga, questionable ref calls
USCe, Turnovers
Missouri, just a bad team
Florida, home crowd advantage caused 5 or 6 penalties for unprepared Gators noise wise
This does not mean we win, I just think there was just a paper-thin difference between a no-loss #12 team and a 4 loss non-ranked team. The pollster just looks at wins in P5 sometimes, Think they should look a little deeper. It has caused us to get some terrible matchups in the final 4 in other words blowouts.

Wonder if the same ref crew that did UT - Ole Miss will be on hand in Lexington? I don't think they have an agenda against a certain team (UT), but just incompetency across the board.

Do they post which crews are doing which games somewhere?

My gut is telling me the Vols are gonna blow UK out. Maybe 60 to 30 ish.

I don't place bets on my favorite team because emotions can play tricks on your better judgement, but man I am telling you, I smell a blowout coming.

If we learned anything from Leech last night: stop the run and make Levis try to beat us!

Also if we can manage to get a 2 TD lead, then we start to take away the run game from KY.

If up to me, MSU’s QB, Will Rogers would be SEC player of the week. Maybe Kentucky isn’t as bad as they seemed. This kid had a phenomenal game. CJH had an off week to watch film and Mike Leach just gave him a roadmap.
I doubt Stoops comes out in drop 8 against UT. That's what gave Leach the upper hand. Once MSU established the run game, Stoops had to bring a defender to the line which opened up the intermediate to deep pass game. Leach did outcoach Stoops but it was really simple.

Some critics around here say Leach is one dimensional, but that is not true. Once he can establish the run he will go to it if you are defending the pass, keeping the defense off balance. Its what he did to UK and once he has the Jimmies and the Joes, it will be the same thing every week. I just hope he can get the players in there to take Saban down.

I would love to see UT v MSU in the SEC Championship in a couple of years if not sooner.

IF....

UT wins the turnover battle
UT has limited penalties
UT has no major injuries

then I think it will be a win for the Vols..

No doubt in my mind that we are a better team at this point in the season. I expect that we will hand Kentucky their 3rd straight loss of the season. I just hope Heupel keeps the team focused on Kentucky and not Georgia. One focus, one mission, one game at a time.

I see an offensive explosion for us. This uk team got ranked high by beating a overhyped Florida team who is about to lose some coaches because they have no identity on offense and their D is undisciplined. UK can’t stop what Heup is gonna throw at them.

On D, uga showed the blueprint for shutting them down and Miss st improved on it. Uk isn’t going to be able to play a lot of ball control. I see a lot of 3 and outs for them.

I do feel like we should have several opportunities to score on UK, but I’m in no way seeing this game as an automatic win. As for Florida’s issues (which they have), they did beat us, again. When it comes to GA defense, that is a stratosphere we can’t achieve anytime soon (Or very few other teams for that matter).
