It's Kentucky week. I just watched the road game, KY at MSU. Playing on the road is rough, and Kentucky proved that. Was it the cowbells? Or was it an amazing performance by a Mike Leach Air Raid QB named Will Rodgers? Did I hear right, his completions were something like 36/39? Gotta say he picked Kentucky apart and on the other end, UK's QB was hot garbage. One UK score (like in the Florida game) was special teams, so subtract those from the offensive scoring. Maybe their offense needs special teams help to put up points?

Kentucky has now dropped 2 in a row. I think it's easy to look at these two games and get cocky - like it's in the bag. Winning on the road in the SEC is tough, and battered Vol syndrome tells me to throttle back on the enthusiasm. I'm not sure what the line is, but I doubt we will be favored, even after the MSU loss that just occurred.

The good news - we've had a week off to heal, and to me, I think this team is hungry for a big win. A decent outing against Bama (even though some folks here disagree). A win here and a 7 win season is very likely. Not bad with a depleted roster and much better than many predicted at the first of the season.

This has the makings of a pretty good game. Anxious for Saturday in Lexington. Off weekends spawn dumb threads. It's been bad lately. Rename Neyland Stadium.. Really?? Time to get back to what matters.

I see an offensive explosion for us. This uk team got ranked high by beating a overhyped Florida team who is about to lose some coaches because they have no identity on offense and their D is undisciplined. UK can’t stop what Heup is gonna throw at them.

On D, uga showed the blueprint for shutting them down and Miss st improved on it. Uk isn’t going to be able to play a lot of ball control. I see a lot of 3 and outs for them.

Yea this game won’t be a cakewalk win like some other fans think it will be. Kentucky plays good at home especially at night they definitely were off tonite especially Levis who played really bad. Can we win? Yea if we play clean and efficient. Our defense has played pretty well all season so I think they can keep Kentucky in check. I like our offense but it does go cold during stretches of games. It’s not a chew up the clock type of offense. Stoops will want to run Smoke and Rodriguez at us and control the clock and keep our O off the field.

Imo KY will now be ranked about where their team is actually at which is just at or just outside of the top 25.

I still think we should be slight underdogs coming in, but this will be the most 50/50 game of the season.

Be nice to win, but no need to panic if we lose.

I was at KY-MSU. Tennessee wins. The only area State struggled in offensively was trying to run outside. Evans and Small will be able to get chunk plays inside, the passing game should flourish as well. UK struggled offensively all night. Their only offensive TD was the result of a busted coverage.

Okay I watched the highlights. Can't expect KY to turn it over like that against us.

If they do we will win by A LOT.

Our defense ain't bad though and no way KY is gonna feel all that confident next week

Turnovers are what they do. After today they're 2nd worst in the league in fumbles lost, behind only South Carolina. They have thrown 9 interceptions after today, which leaves them only ahead of Florida and Vandy in the SEC. But their ints per attempt are very high because coming into today they'd thrown the ball less than any team in the league. They had about 10 fewer attempts than Arkansas coming into the Miss State game and they and Arkansas were the only schools with under 200 pass attempts in the league this year.
