in the middle of all of the woulda/coulda/shoulda talk about tonight's game and simply take out hats off to this Vol team, especially the seniors. Like William Munny said in Unforgiven, "deserves got nothin' to do with it" but I thought these guys deserved to win tonight. Those guys have been through the ringer over the past three years. They had every reason to just walk away or be bitter and resentful. This season easily could have been a 2-10 campaign, but they bought in and kept the younger guys focused. So they lost tonight. Big deal. They'll be better players, and better men on down the road for what they've had to deal with and how they've dealt with it. They get credit in my book just for showing up and fielding a team, but this team improved over the season, which is the more important thing going forward. Thank you guys.

Jones, Moore, Williams, Reveiz, Walker, Thompson, Stocker were warriors even Lincoln and Cunningham put their stamp on this season. Wish you all well and hope $$$$$ is in your future.

In my eyes this team far outperformed expectations this season. On paper, we're a 4-5 win team, but we found ourselves in a bowl, and twice screwed.

That said, if the MCB result isn't overturned or at least nullified, I'll be furious.

I'm proud of the guys that stuck it out and gave their all, more loyal to the Orange and White than to their whims. May success follow them in all their endeavors.

The Bowl game over now, for US anyway, but these kids will remember it for a long time to come, and they ALL played their hearts out. I look forward to watchin, nail bitin, and cussin, and YELLIN YES, YES, YES...GO VOLS, at the top of my lungs...Win, Lose, or Draw, the Vols are #1 afterall it is just a game, but a dang good one. GO VOLS
