They hate us so much that they are taking glee in our (the fans) infighting. So I would ask that all this stop. If you want to waive a white flag or talk about how horrible we are then go to tidefans or one of the other bammer sites and just read what happiness they get out of us fighting. If you are a true VOL fan you will think twice before you post, after reading what those fools have to say.

Agreed! But they are certainly familiar with infighting: their boards were full of it for the past few years. They were calling for MS's head 10 months ago.

well said...its like Gen Shwartzkopf said to reporters in the Gulf War press conference...''You think the enemy doesnt have CNN?'' Lets make our posts positive if we can, we all know things arent what wed like em to be, but in our compacity the best thing we can do to help our boys is be supportive and let them and the coaching staff work the problems out.

Here's a postivie post --> With a great game against ND, we could win out and go 8-3.

Also, looks like Brodie will have to wear a knee brace for the rest of the year because of the lickin' he took against our D :aggressive:

We only hate the vols on the 3rd Saturday in October. It's PF we hate all year long. :matrix:

looks like Bama's not the team that lost a star player, though. Seems like I remember a poster on here saying brodie was coming off the field on crutches. Karma's a b****.

About the fighting...hey, as someone said above, if anyone knows anything about fighting amongst themselves it's Bama. We've had plenty to complain about over the last DECADE. I think some people on the Bama boards are just glad it's someone else for a change...and it doesn't hurt that it's Tennessee.

Kinda like bammer fans. They think that UT, FBI, NCAA, SEC and all officials were out to "take down" the bammer football program.

Some are happy. I am not. Oh don't misunderstand, I am happy we won last week. But the only team I dwell on is the team we play that week. I would be just as happy if the only loss the Vols had was to us. I hope you win the rest of your games.

Team fan discussing options and thoughts on how to improve show the strength and commitment to that team. The fact Vol fans are upset shows me they care. I would much rather have 'fighting' than nothing.

OH I am very aware of that. But a bammer is a bammer to me. I don't mean it as a slight to a bammer to call them a bammer. Now, if I call anyone else a bammer then it is a slam.

I am not a rare Bama fan. I am an old Bama fan. After 34+ years of actively following CFB, I moved from the single-mindedness of following just one team. I pull for Bama against anyone. They are my team. After them, I pull for the SEC or other very select non-conference teams. If any fan can’t go to a board and learn from the ‘fighting’ or at least get a better understanding of CFB, they are truly one dimensional.

For example, the talk about Ainge has made me re-evaluate the call to replace him with Clauson (sp). After the LSU game I thought is was a good move. After thinking about it, I wonder if it didn’t hurt him and the Vols more. Sometimes you have to get back on the horse as soon as it bucks you off.

I enjoy CFB much more when I can enjoy the entire experience. Part of that is partaking in success and failures of other teams.

Hate? After retiring from the military, I know what hate is. Hate is watching your brother(s)/sister(s) in arms die. Hate is handing a flag to a grieving widow who is no older that a college cheerleader. Hate is seeing the Twin Tower fall or watching your countrymen jump from buildings to avoid being burned alive. Yes, I know hate. Hate is not something you have for a mere football program or its fans.

I know what you mean about your military experience as I am a vet and a VFW. If you want to talk about that kind of hate then we can on another site. But on this site we are talking CFB. The kind of hate that I was and others on this site speak of is not true hate and I think everyone knows that.
I too like going to other school sites and learning and I don't flame them and am glad you have not either. But whether or not you want to admit it you are a rare bammer fan. That is a comp from me.

They have every right to be happy. They beat us fair and square. If they had Tyrone Prothro, the score would not have been 6-3. They might have blown us out, like they did Florida when he was playing.

I am referring to your terminology of hate. Perhaps I have misread or misunderstood the intent of your post. If so, I apologize. On a happy note, it is nice to meet another brother. There seem to be few of us as it is.

Just incase anyone is wondering, I monitor this board daily because I find less stupidity here than on any other board. I wish I could find a Baa forum like this, but most I do find seem to be filled with... huh... mush.
