Let's start the movement

Good grief with these types of threads. News flash; the women's hoops landscape is changing. UT is still a factor nationally, just not as dominating as before. This coach has multiple all Americans coming in, and the remaining players like her. I take head in the words of the former players when they said it's the players not he coach. Hopefully a new batch of talent will help change the results. It's dumb to try to push out a coach that's putting out ranked teams.

The former players are most likely right. However, in the past when things weren't going well or if player's minds weren't right, Pat knew how to fix it. (these same former players could tell you how she did it) Holly, as she says "has no clue". Herein lies the problem with Holly, not tough enough. Seems to be afraid to hammer people when it is needed. Over the years in this program and any sport program, a player, the best or not, has to be made aware of who the boss is and where that player fits into the team. Holly just doesn't show the willingness to make these moves.

I thought this thread was going to be about my favorite topic, the totally crappy LV halfcourt offense.

Actually, the constipation metaphor works great - there's no movement, we can't pass for crap and when something does come out its usually a brick.

I don't know where the critical point for the program is. 4 top players this season and 3 coming in next season. The point at which we stop getting top players is critical mass. One more season? Holly broke the record for top players in a new coaches tenure. The problem is there are more good players so other teams are getting rich to. Can't just load up like the old days, got to coach on game day.

I just stopped watching and will move on until the Lady vols become relevant again. Hate to be this way but if the administration doesn't care why should I.

This is the perfect example of what I consider a bandwagon fan.

I hear you; I do. But if you can only support the team getting to the F4 or winning the natty, that's not really much of a fan.

Of the 336 schools that don't make the final four, I guess all those folks in their stands are completely wasting their time. *shrugs*

Holly had 3 of the top 22 WNBA picks all on one team and did nothing with it.

All you need to know.
