Who besides Jack.... wants him gone?

I'm not trying to accuse any one person or persons of wanting him cut from the team, sorry if it came off that way. It just seems like some feel the teams better off without him. Other than a couple of tweets I just don't see how thats the case. thats all I'm saying

Volnation..lets show Da'Rick we care about him..love him and we are with him..lets hope our love and care keeps him here. Negative posts here can hurt feelings and confidence of a young kid. Lets not forget he is still in 20s and we all have had our share of bad decisions. Lets make sure with our love and support Da'Rick doesn't make a bad decision and stays here...one more good season here will win us few more games and the kid can have a bright future in NFL ...
Tweet him..email him..send him a message..paint the rock ..whatever..lets show him some much needed support

I was thinking more like maybe he should show his teamates and coaches that he loves and cares about them.Nobody made him act the way he has acted.I want him at Tn but not if he is going to hurt the team. But I think he should be showing the University, coaches, players some respect and love.I could careless if his feelings or confidence is hurt.He made his situation the way it is.

I think at the first home game all the fans should boo him either after his first catch or first td catch. Maybe it will show him that most of us thought he was an idiot during the offseason and he will change his ways. Then we can all start cheering for him. Rogers is one of my fav players, but the offseason rumors/reports make it hard to like the guy.

I resent the fact that DR behaved as he did. When I say resent, I mean it given all the bad things that have happened since Fulmer's last two years including players throwing their helmets on the field after a, I think, Vandy lost. Then Kiffin year, and now this DR thing, I resent it. All too likely if I was HC, I'd have kicked his rear off the team long ago.

BUT, BUT, BUT what you're suggesting tells me three things:

1. You're a vindictive, mean spirited and grudge holding person. Which makes you no better than DR to be frank.

2. Your suggestion will only reinforce if not justify straight out that DR's accusation of the UT being an "ass backwards" place was accurate.

3. Our coaches, our fans, have a chance to show "guarded" support for a player the coach has reinstated and possibly straighten out a young man who looks to me like either before, during, or after he finally leaves here is otherwise headed for a criminal lifestyle given his attitude and antics. I'd like the UT to be known as a place that understands the concept of forgiveness, can implement forgiveness, but definitely will not shovel BS for you.

We can start this reputation by giving DR support for whatever "positive" actions he exhibits henceforth. IF he insists on further misconduct after this, then I think UT fans should mass assemble and demand CDD outs him immediately. So for my part when his name is announced during game time, I'm cheering. When he makes a play that benefits our team on the field, I'm cheering and yelling DA' RICK!!!! ROCK 'EM, ROGERS!!!

Your idea of booing him when he makes plays only adds gasoline to a fire and makes us look like the fools some opponents and their fans think we are. You'd be doing more to damage UT's reputation than anything DR has done. Now, go ahead and stomp me for telling the truth for what it is.

He might want to talk to JJ about how much money it cost him being a DA. Although his problem is different. He may have already cost himself a first round draft pick.Attitude and no aptitude don't balance in the pros

OP - this thread is not really going the way you envisioned is it?

Been there done that. Everybody deserves a second chance. However, this attitude has been going on since he arrived, it just has not always been played out in the public eye. If people knew the full scope there would be no more shout-outs for love. The guy has personality issues that affect the program. Dools chooses to try to manage them until he is gone after this coming season. Dools doesn't care about the effect it has on the other players, the coaching staff, and the fan base. It is no coincidence that the staff turnover was ridiculous this past season. That is a direct reflection on Dools. When you sacrifice team unity for select individual(s) you get what you get. Last year that meant total disaster.

I hope DR gets his act together and Dools restores team unity. I hope DR has a great season and goes on to an NFL career. I hope Dools never gives special treatment to any one player ever again. I hope the team wins 9+ games and Dools saves his job. However, I will not be cheering for DR or Dools and my expectations for the hopes listed above being realized are not very high. Take away DR's tweeting privileges and at least you send a message to the fan base and players that social media crap will not be tolerated. Do something other than doing nothing. Instead it's all about a "teaching" moment per his after practice interview. That is pure BS.

There is no truth for those who read selectively.
Or can't read with comprehension. And on that note, I'm done with this particular topic.

What has he done to suggest anything of him heading to a criminal lifestyle? Come on.
