We all have seen how high ankle sprain recovery time can really vary from person to person.
All we know right now is that Butch said he would miss the Ohio game and be evaluated day to day after that.
I'm going to be very optimistic and say he will only miss three games and be back for Tamu...
What do you think?

If it really is a high-ankle sprain, and not something else, then we will not see him back before the Texas A&M game, maybe longer. For all we know, it isn't as bad as a high ankle sprain but they classified it as that just to be safe, but for that specific injury, without a miracle happening, he will need 3 weeks to recover.

Which sucks, because we really need him for all 4 of those big games. Those 4 games are our entire season. Colton Jumper isn't going to cut it.

I voted Bama game. I think it's a lot worse than some may think. Even if he could play he won't be 100%. I believe Shoop will get this figured out. If I was guessing I think we will see JRM slide over to DKjr spot and have Cortez Mcdowell at weak side LB. With Sapp, jumper and Bryant rotating in & out to give JRM and Mcdowell a breather.

Good call. McDowell played well in JRM's spot against App State after the targeting incident. He should do well as the weakside LB.

I had a high ankle sprain in High School and it took me 7 weeks to get back to being close too 100% I was in a boot for almost 5 weeks.

Now, I didn't have the same support that DK Jr. has (daily training staff, regular therapy, etc.) but It's a whole lot more serious than "sprain" makes it sound.

He wont play at Florida if it really is a High Ankle Sprain and I think him coming back in three weeks is optimistic.

I'm going with the Georgia game. Friend of mine that's an orthopaedic specialist thinks it'll be the A&M game from what he could see watching the replay of it. He said looks can be deceiving, but it didn't look like the kind of foot and ankle angle that would cause a severe sprain needing a long recovery. Either way it's still not a good situation.

Highly doubt this. Unless JRM can get up to speed calling plays for the defense, he hasn't been practicing at MLB, therefore won't magically be great at it.

Again, I wish real life was like a video game and you could do what you wasted, but unfortunately it's not that easy
