A couple of things

1. For those who went to the game. I hope you were treated well and enjoyed the atmosphere (anyone want to comment on the noise level? I wasn't there unfortunetly). Most vol fans I have met have been all class, so I hope we returned the favor. I apologize for our guys doing cheers when your player was down. I'm told you couldn't see he was seriously injured in the student section.

2. Ainge is a stud. Those predicting a bad season for the Vols have to remember that with a QB that good you will be in every game.

3. I hope we proved to you guys that Cal's talent and speed can match up to the vols and the SEC.

4. I'm officially giddy over Cal's freshman RB Best.

:good!:

Good win, droski. You've been a good contribution to the board. You should be very happy with the team you fielded last night....and very happy our d-line couldn't get pressure on longshore :).

Your offense is very explosive. But your D needs alot of work. I mean Tenn drove at will on Cal for the most part.

Thanks. I kept telling you guys our oline was going to be good this year. Cal's dline didn't exactly do too well either. I was completely convinced that you guys were going to come back through the first 3 quartes. It seemed like you were doing anything you wanted offesively.

That was four things.
A couple of things.
- You just beat a mediocre SEC team with alot of inexperience.
- Theres a lot of football left to be played this year.

You beat me to it. Our d did not look great I must admit. Our run defense was horrible.

Just please beat USC and don't choke against anyone else. That way THEY end up in the Holiday Bowl. haha

I'm not sure if Cal's that good, or UT's defense is that bad. I'm leaning to the latter.

Congrads on keeping you hopes for a top 10 season alive. I think UT's got hit with a cold dose of reality.

I was more impressed with BEST when they showed his 100m burst... man he is fast... and for his miniscule build (for a back) and inexperience... he showed gr8 skills... i think he will turn out to be a good football player... you guys should be excited for havin him... overall good game...

Your offense is very fast. I was suprised by how they made us look so slow out there. Be glad you have such a powerful offense. Your gonna need it.

We're cal. We will choke to someone. Trust me. SC didn't look all that great. If our d can improve i think we have a decent chance.

Cal's defense was good enough to score a touchdown, which is more than can be said for Chavis' defense.

Congrats, Droski. Everyone in the group I'm traveling in was treated exceptionally well. My only complaint is that the bars in Berkeley obviously didn't do their homework. They all seemed overwhelmed by the number of people. The Bear's Lair, which was otherwise a great spot, ran out of large cups for draft beer and several bottled drinks. Otherwise, it was as good trip as I've taken in a long while. That's the bad thing about how far in advance football schedules are made. We'll all be old by the time Tennessee has an opportunity to return to the Bay Area.

1. Crowd noise was equal to a Georgia basketball game :birgits_giggle:

3. No - the only thing that was proved tonight was you all have great receivers and we have horrible SP coaching and a bad d-line. Probably the worst d-line in a LONG time.... and it just got worse with Mitchell

4. Yeah he's a talent.. can't touch Coker though.

Congrats Droski

Tedford had the team ready. Cal has some real studs at the skill positions.

I think the Cal offense is that good and while our D could have been better - I think this will be most dangerous offense we will face this year.

Congrats to Cal, you guys have lots of dangerous playmakers, good luck with the rst of your season. One thing though, I don't see Longshore as one of the best QBs in the nation, I just wasn't that impressed, he kept us in the game just as much as anything we did. But anywho, congrats again.

Congrats to Cal, they're a great team.

DeSean proved to be the real deal, and I would love to see Tennessee play another home & home with Cal. As someone said earlier, it will be awhile though.
