Let's not Lambert steal the show today...

Good point OP. I'm just worried about the DL position. Hard to win against any SEC team without a decent DL.

I am not sweating it, because if Lambert was not ALL VOL, he ain't worth it. Remember, even if he came here, he would definitely be gone after 2 seasons.

This is just the ebb and flow of recruiting. And this isn't the first one to jump. But this year, for every one that had jumped off, a better one has committed. So, I view this as an opportunity to better the class.

As I see it, there are other good JUCO DL candidates that are still available. Or we can now concentrate on getting a true DT with 4 years of eligibility. There is one out there with 5 stars that is yet to commit.

My final point; The Vols are getting ready to rise straight to the top. And this is not going to stop it.

3 very important young men signed with the Vols today.

Dontavious Blair
LaVon Pearson
Owen Williams

THEY are the BIG story today. Thrilled these young men will be Vols. They will be very instrumental to the rebuilding of this program...thanks to each of you from Vol Nation.

I agree lets focus on the young men who stayed loyal to their commitment. It will all will work out besides if he wasn't 100% sure he wanted to play for TN we dont need him anyways. I want guys who want to be here and be proud to suit up in the orange this fall. If auburn could peruse him that easy then let them have him.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet but according to Ainge Lambert may be ruled academically ineligible (TIFWIW) so we may have dodged a bullet there.
