Insunseri youre right it is inconsistency, we are inconsistent playing good, tough, fundamental basketball. We don't even play with much emotion. I hate that.

Cuonzo is going to wish he was back at Missouri State......not a good move for the Zo. His coaching staff is one of the weakest in D-1. Recruits already know ......
Cuonzo's days are very short

This is a poorly coached team, and a bad coach and staff. We don't adjust to other teams ever. We don't run plays worth a damn. We don't dictate tempo, we don't push transition hardly at all. We do nothing to make other teams adjust to us or even be uncomfortable against us. We just HOPE we make threes, and HOPE they miss shots. I am sorry, blast all you want, but nothing shows me it's going to be any better next year, and especially beyond that. Use Maymon as an excuse sure, but guess what... we didn't make the NCAA last year WITH him. We aren't firing him right now i know that. He's going to get next year, but if he doesn't win and win at a high level, the new coach noise is going to get REAL loud. Zo's seat is hot, real hot right now.

If UT didnt want to play in the NIT- they should have turned it down. This was not a good year- the team was not motivated much of the time and thats on CM. He may be Derek Dooley with a round ball. Loser.

Wow, I know the Cuanzo = Dooley argument is a bit much... But I do seem to remember threads like this popping up after the '11 UK loss: "NO WAY Dooley gets fired next season" ; "He is at least going to get a full roster of his recruits before they let him go" ; "With our returning talent, we will be far better next year"

Martin gets next year for sure, but he hasn't given us a whole lot of hope that he can win at a high level. His teams are among the least clutch I've ever seen.

You might want to scale back the overreaction after a meaningless NIT loss. Martin's seat isn't hot. It will be if he misses the NCAA tourney next year.

If this team hasn't won some big games in Nov and Dec next year then the overreacting fans can go ahead and jump off the cliff. It'll be time for a coaching change.

It isnt just this loss, its all the bad ones over 2 years. And the stinkers we've laid. Its the December and January's the past 2 years. It's the lack of fire and emotion, especially early in the seasons. It's the getting hyped for a late season win streak, only to fall on our faces for the SAME reasons as before.

I agree. Cuonzo is better off to leave now. He will be in the books as one of the worst hires in Vol history.

Right. Couldn't agree more.

I'd go so far as to say he's head and shoulders THE worst ever. He makes Buzz look like Izzo.

Here I sit all broken hearted
The vols played but looked retarded!!
The only way we way we win next year is if we have a damn good three point shooter, our offense consist of 3,3,3,3,3,To,3,TO,and the occasional rebound and put back. have yet to see any real coaching ability.
Here I sit all broken hearted,
vols tired to ball but only farted

Better? Lol :loco:

Why didn't Dooley get to coach the players he brought in? because he was a loser and so far so is Martin, we win if we can it our 3 point shots that is all.

Yes, and it football we'd have won if we had just scored more touchdowns.
