How can you say he did not close the deal last year? Fl and Ga both had their chance and choked.

My biggest fear is getting someone who wants to simply use our team as a "stepping stone". These "hired gun" coaches who say one thing and do the opposite make me sick. No character, no honesty.

New Qb, new OC. I would at least like to have the season play out. What say you?

I, for obvious reasons want Phil and his Division II OC to stay as long as they like. I really feel for the fans, that was a terrible display of football and you had every reason to be pissed.

I for one am darn glad UT keeps resigning Coach Fulmer to a big fat contract. This guy just about guarantees we have only one real rival to win the SEC East. Great work, Vols!

You can coach a kid till your blue in the face. Its left up to him to go out there make plays and crompton and the special teams didnt do that. No u can not blame fulmer on this one.

That is a JOKE. How about the stale play calling, not having his offense and special teams ready? How about telling your punter DO NOT KICK IT TO 25! You think a head coach would have some say in those type of matters right? My Coaches would have chewed me out, benched me, and punished me in practice for dropping 1 pass on 2nd and 12. Fulmer acts like it was just unlucky players drop passes, throw interceptions, run into each other on special teams, get penalties left and right, and shove oposing players. That is something Fulmer needs to get control of and do it fast because his Job is resting on it.

I know people will say there's no way Fulmer gets fired because of his contract and this stupid record he's chasing. What if fans stop showing up to games? What if our next nationally televised game shows empty seats. That would probably lead to the AD (Hamilton) being fired who is equally the problem and that's what I'm hoping will happen.

I understand that you're going to say that it shouldn't have been a pass, and I agree. But did Fulmer call in that play? NO. That play was called in by Clawson, and that's the play to run.

Sorry to tell you but YES it is Fulmer's fault. He lets Crompton play so how can it not be. Crompton looks like a stoner!:crazy:

I don't think they will ever "fire him" but, he could be forced to resign.

He's better than all the rest. He's charasmatic, whimsical, and creative. He's a credit to the coaching profession, won a NC, and has written a book on offensive line coaching. He's the perfect fit at Tennessee and even his opponents respect him. There are dozens of Div 1A schools ready to hire him, as well as NFL teams. I could go on and on with his positive traits and why you are fortunate to have him. CPF is a constant hunter in the pursuit of excellence.

We lost big to 2 bad teams(Cal and Bama), and we lost HUGE to another inconsistent team Florida.

That beeping sound you complained about was us backing into the Georgia Dome.

I really want some of the stuff your smoking. I wouldnt hire him to coach my boys pee wee team. The guy is a joke and is making our program an embarressment. Our teams are constantly out coached and now we are getting blown out by our biggest rivals. I will also guarante you that no NFL team wants him to coach on there team. Hell I wouldn't even let him be the water boy, I guess this is what he gets for stabbing ole Johnny in the back.
