Being in my early 20's, 2004 is about the earliest season from which I have a full memory.

So here are the top 5 most painful UT losses I've experienced:

1.) 2009 Alabama

- I was there. Alabama fan friends gave me tickets. They tried to leave early as Lincoln lined up. I stopped next to the only two Tennessee fans I'd seen that day. I don't know who they were, but we suffered in that moment together.

2.) 2015 Florida

- I'm sure recency bias is in play, but God, this one is as bad as it gets.

3.) 2010 LSU

- Dooley.

4.) 2011 Kentucky

- Dooley.

5.) 2008 Wyoming

- Biased because I was there.

Honorable mentions:

2011 Music City Bowl

- Dooley.

2001 SEC Championship.

- Because we ain't been right since.

I'm about to puke after that game. Must we relive that now?? Why not wait until Monday?

Here's an old one for you that hurt a lot at the time. 1979 at Bama. Up 17-0. At 17-7 we dropped a wide open TD pass in the end zone. Lost 27-17. I was only 21 then so it seemed like the end of the world at the time.

For what it cost was 2001 LSU, and it's not really close.

Biggest kick in the gut (even more than today) was the 2001 UGA "hobnail boot". Sitting in that stadium watching us take the screen pass to the house, only to see the worst squib kick in the history of football and David Greene march down the field was more than I want to remember.

LSU 2010 will always be the worst for me. It's one thing to lose at the last second, it's another to lose after it says final score on the TV. I've never experienced a rollercoaster of emotions like that

For me it was a tie that was most painful back in maybe 90 or 91 against auburn. That was the worst for me ever.

Way too many to name. '10 LSU game will always stick out though. Long plane ride back from Baton Rouge.

That wasn't a game we were supposed to win.

I don't remember the LSU 01 game, so this is #2 because such a huge buildup and it was agaisnt the worst Gator team in the worst fashion. So embarrassing.

However, we know we are irrelevent. The loss to Kentucky and a WR was the worst loss I've endured because it brought the reality of how.low UT had fallen. Most embarrassing.

Alabama 09 was #3 I wanted that game so bad.

Wyoming #5
