Alright, it seems far fetched to think he would leave Ok. State, but, if this isn't a scenario for him to get more money from his current employer, is he a legitimate contender for HC here at UT?

well, my own post was pure opinion-fueled, as is this response, so don't take it the wrong way, i would like to think we are all friends here, but fedora to me is just not the energizing hire. after being screwed since 2008, gundy seems like the stand up guy that CAN coach. not kiffin who could maybe coach but was a douche and dooley who was a stand up guy (SEEMINGLY AT FIRST) that could not coach. He gets behind his players, he can win. can he do it in the SEC? I dont know that to be fact, but I do think he fares better than the other names on the list.
I understand what you mean. Personally, I think it is more of a shot to get a raise at OK st. since the man is an alum and everything that entails, but still, maybe, JUST MAYBE, he wants a chance in the SEC, this would be a good time for a coach that wants to prove something to take this specific job.
I'm not going to lie I thought his "I'm a man" rant was a bit nutty but admirable. If we hired him you wouldn't here about players hating their coach like we heard with Dooley. Plus who doesn't want to see their coach do this after we beat Bama?
His best record was last year and I don't believe he will repeat that again; record 7-5 this year. Does not appear to be committed to the defensive side of the game.
