1. Taking a FG on 4th and goal from the half yard line after your offense goes through Oklahoma's D like a hot knife through butter on the first possession of the game----->BLAME: entirely on the coaches (this sent a message to the players and fans that we're afraid to lose rather than playing to win).

2. Surefire TD pass goes right through Alex Ellis' arms (would've put us up 24-3) followed by Aaron Medley missing a 40 yard FG (would've put us up 20-3)----->BLAME: on the players (sometimes you just gotta make plays).

3. Not adjusting to Oklahoma's defense after they take away the read option misdirection run game between Dobbs and Hurd------> BLAME: on the coaches (they should've adjusted like they did on the 1st drive in OT by throwing on early downs to lossen up the run D)

4. Playing Colton Jumper at MLB even after he misses sacks and causes penalties-------> BLAME: entirely on the coaches (Colton Jumper played as hard as he could but he obviously lacks the talent to hang with elite college football players; should've played Darrin Kirkland Jr.)

5. Jancek not adjusting to the QB read option Oklahoma used with Baker Mayfield. Our defense played AMAZING. They dominated almost the entire game. However, they got tired in the end because the offense couldn't move the ball AND because Jancek refused to account for the QB run option.-------> BLAME: entirely on the coaches

We lost this game because Butch Jones coached SCARED, Mike Debord failed to adjust to Oklahoma's gameplan to take away the run option between Dobbs and Hurd, AND Jon Jancek failed to adjust to Oklahoma stealing a page from our book and using the read option with Baker Mayfield.

This roster is talented enough to compete for an SEC championship. I just hope the coaching staff won't keep holding them back.

Running our small back at the goaline instead of the 240lb back.y

Going 2nd and 15 instead of 1st and 25 backing them into the endzone.

Not using the clock in the fourth and still playing fast even tho you were playing to hold the lead rather than step on the necks of ok.

Getting the int at their 29 and not getting any points to sho for it.

Offfence. OL, Dobbs, OC, kicker.....passing offence in general, running game in the second half, you pick it. Defense held enough to hand it over......but we know the rest. Fix the offense.......

We need a coach to show us how to tackle, I can't count how many tackles we missed. I guess we played a prevent defense tonight. That is, how to prevent us to win a decent game.

1) Hiring a re-tread that hasn't coached in years as an OC over talented young coaches because you are too stubborn to try anything new.

Playing Jumper at MLB. I would rather play a young player that makes some mistakes over a guy that can't make a play and makes mistakes.

Foreman's interference in the end zone on an uncatchable ball. He was lost the entire game and has zero cover skills.

I don't have a problem with what Jancek did, other than some penalties in the 2nd half,I thought the defense played pretty good

the field goal in the first quarter didn't bother me either,OK is a very good team and getting points when you can is important

what i have a problem with is the Offense, they looked pretty good in the First Half, but there was never a shot at a deep ball in either half, they should have had a least a couple, even if they couldn't be caught Dobbs should have launched some deep balls

i thought that they should have made some attempts to run the ball up the middle in the 2nd half,I don't think that they even tried, you could tell that OK was set to look for all the sweep runs,it was like DeBord was scared to go up the middle,as to why,i have no idea

I thought he did a fairly good job overall, there were the 2 flags, which came at a bad time, but the defense shouldn't have been on the field that much and who would you have started over him ?

Failing to deliver the ball to our ridiculously talented receivers..
No offensive adjustments. run Dobbs, run Hurd, Dobbs, Hurd, Hurd, Dobbs, Hurd, Dobbs...
Where was Kamara?
Why decline major penalties?

Debord is not gonna cut it. Lazy lazy play calling will not win in this league.

Not using the timeout on Oklahoma's fourth and goal in the first overtime.

They don't carry over into the next overtime series if you don't use them.

Subbing Kamara for Hurd at the goal line to run up the middle is so stupid it reminds me of Fulmer, and hell I dont think he would have ever done that!

The most mistakes in the game were made by the refs. When announcing a penalty, the ref would consistently face the wrong direction. It takes them 5 minutes of instant replay analysis to determine an incomplete when it was obvious it was an incomplete pass. Here are some others:

1. Blown "false start" penalty
2. Interference penalty when the ball was uncatchable
3. Time out for "fixing the chains"

The refs didn't cost us the game, but they made it hard to watch.

I think a couple of mistakes were that the refs didn't call obvious movement on OK's line there at the end. That probably helped OK win the game. Those were two obvious misses. Happens though. Big 12 officiating crew.
