The only Vol fans I know with a mentality like yours are exclusively online. I know no real people who get upset by other fans not feeling too confident in the team. “Typical Tennessee” is a phrase on the tip of the tongue of most Tennesseans.

We are an Everything School now so idk about those losers but I sure am glad I can watch practically any Tennessee athletic event and feel we have a good chance of winning. This is a Golden Era of athletics for Tennessee and it’s a shame we still have battered fans. Maybe they need to see a therapist to feel better about themselves because as far as Tennessee goes, it doesn’t get much better than what we have going on right now.

The football gods just said bama by 37 now. Thanks guy. Geezus. Somebody get rid of this attitude. We have been in the 🏜 struggled to survive and now we are wanting to storm an opposing teams field.

On the whole things are going quite well for Tennessee, but there’s plenty of reason not to count a trip to Tuscaloosa as a win.

Lots of conclusions drawn after 1 game played. FSU is and has been loaded. They just haven’t been doing anything with it. For you to pretend we were a few players away from playing with Ohio state is laughable. Might wanna rewatch.

I don’t know of any loaded teams going 2-10 unless it’s due to wins getting taken away for cheating. And I was there in person to watch that abomination in Columbus so I don’t have to rewatch it. They were better at everything on the field. Even texted my friends after the game and said Ohio State would win the championship because they were just that much faster than us. I said it was a mismatch from the start and told no lies. You are just trying to spin something for no reason 😂

Tennessee has definitely improved the Athletic Department over the last several years, there's no arguing that. Josh Heupel has gotten us back on the right track as far as the football program is concerned. However, when was the last time the football program won anything of significance? The Outback Bowl or the Gator Bowl or any of those other insignificant bowl wins don't count. I'm not talking a regular season game against teams that have owned us for a couple of decades like Georgia, Bama, and Florida either. We've gotten curb stomped over the last twenty years by those three more than anyone wants to talk about. We invent new ways to lose to them. 11-49....that's Tennessee's record against those three over the last 20 years. 5-15 against UGA, 3-17 against Bama, and 3-17 against Florida. Tennessee hasn't won an SEC title since 1998. When you have a record like that against those three, and haven't even come close to sniffing a conference championship in almost 30 years, you don't get to talk about "golden era" anything. Maybe start this post again in about 5 years if we win a few SEC titles, and consistently start recruiting top 3 classes, and beating the best teams in the conference. You obviously weren't around in the 90's, or were at least too young to remember it, if you think this is the golden era of Tennessee football.

Golden era of UT sports. Women’s ⚽️ beat the ☝️ team in the nation, Lady Vol 🏀 is in good hands, same with 🥎 our men’s hoops has gone to b2b Elite 8’s, ⚾️ is producing first rounders and won a natty last year and 🏈 has grown leaps and bounds during Heupel’s time.

Yes we know the ultimate goal is a national title and we’ve yet to win since 98 but our trajectory now feels a lot different than before. There’s a ton more buy in from the players now and while no team is perfect, I really appreciate how these kids play for each other.

We would’ve lost the Bama game last year in years past. 3 turnovers. No points in the first half. There’s a resilience and 🏈 character to this team and we lost that in the wilderness the past 10-15 years prior to Heupel.

Well then you don’t know football or you don’t know how to use google. In 24 FSU finished ahead of us in recruiting. 23- behind us 8 spots. 22- behind us 3 spots. 21- behind us 1 spot. All top 20 classes. Maybe “loaded” is a bit of a reach. We can save “loaded” for Ga, OSU, etc. But to pretend this team isn’t packed with talent at or better than our team level is silly. It’s possible that FSU has a very good year. Talent wise they weren’t a 2-10 team. They just obviously didn’t put it together very well. Much like Texas AM the past few years. To draw the kind of conclusions you have for bama after 1 game against what could be a good team is just wishful thinking.

So we are using recruiting rankings as the gospel for a team being loaded or not? Nico was the top rated QB and look how he turned out. I seem to recall JG being highly recruited also, same thing. Busts happen all the time so you can’t really trust the rankings a lot of times. Every power 4 team has some talent, that’s undeniable, but to say FSU is loaded right now is false. There are only a handful of teams that can claim that. And if you do want to use rankings this is what FSU is the past 4 seasons according to 247:

2022: 19th
2023: 16th (1 5 star, the only one in these 4 years)
2024: 11th
2025: 18th

Yeah that’s freaking LOADED man! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nick Saban said on GameDay last year that the one game he never ever had trouble motivating his players for was Tennessee. We will absolutely not play the same team that crapped themselves on national TV in Tallahassee.

If they have multiple losses before playing us then we might see an even worse team. This Alabama team is too worried about making Tik Tok videos pregame than locking in on their opponent. They will wax ULM and get some false hope but they will come back to reality whenever Georgia beats them by three touchdowns. Heck they might even lose to Wisconsin before then.
