'God of our fathers, known of old,
Lord of our far-flung battle line,
Beneath whose awful hand we hold
Dominion over palm and pine—
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!'

These are Troubling Times for all who love Lady Vols Basketball. Very sad and quite helpless in what we can do to solve our problem. Take Heart if you will and remember the good times. These are the days we cherished as a Lady Vol Fan....

I bleed orange as much as anyone, but what we should not forget is that in the great scheme of things, athletic competitions and their results don't amount to a tinker's damn.

Yes. And illness has no regard for the person it strikes, champion coach or not. All Pat's wins could not help her against Alzheimer's so in the bigger picture, all these losses are just a small dot in comparison to the bigger stage. We all forget that sometimes. Thanks for the reminder.
