Lest we forget, Freshmen make up nearly 50% of roster....

Are we the only school in the country that has freshmen on their football team? Hell, I'd argue other teams who have much better results lean on freshmen much more than we do.

You realize your post supports those of us who are done with Butch, right? Playing mostly Freshmen and Sophmores in year 5 is not a good thing.

Sophomores and Freshmen including r/s around 2/3 of total team.

I agree. Yes we are in your five but our depth is just now starting to get better.. Recruits need to be judged after three years in the program. Due to attrition and injuries not all of the so called great players we sign pan out. Dylan Bates , Preston Williams, and Niko Creamer are examples of what I speak of.

I'm as pisswd as anyone about the loss but I saw some good things.

Good point OP and I agree completely. Butch just needs a little more time to get these young guys game ready.

And 27 players on our young team have only experienced one painful humiliating loss at the swamp where an over his head MAC coach pisses away a game against a winless, touchdownless, quarterbackless, absolute worst Florida team in recent history made 10x worse by internal turmoil, pending criminal charges, 10 players suspended including their two best playmakers, and a hurricane.

Freshmen and sophomores are first, second and third year players. In a perfect world, wouldn't that make up 60% of the team? What's your premise?
