Watchout for Carrol, I went to their Rival HS (Gonzaga in DC) and Carrol is no joke. They got two guys Kris Joseph who signed with the Cuse and Rodney McGruder who is going to play at Kansas State. They also have this transfer from Canada named Alex Mitrovic, who can play too.

The League they play in (WCAC) is arguably the best in the country, with two teams currently ranked in the Top 20 in the country (Dematha and Gonzaga)

We are aware of their two big guns. Them two combine for about 75% of their shots so if we can slow them down, we should be in good shape. We have four players that average 13 points or more (McDonald, Gregg Wooten, Johnny Williams, Elgin Lee).
But if we cannot stop their two big guns, it could be a shootout.

Someone on the other board said that he talked to Leslie and he spoke so highly of UT that he would have thought UT was his easy leader.

Another poster from Memphis says that it will come down to UT, UNC, and Memphis.

I think it's going to come down to Memphis and UT.

I wouldn't call Tennessee his easy leader, because he wouldn't say a bad thing about any shcool, but I think Tennessee is near the top of the list.

The game remained close thru out the first 3 quarters with each team making little spurts, but in the end Briarcrest seemed to be the more disciplined team. All in all another Good Arby's Classic.

G/F Leslie McDonald averaged 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.8 steals at the Arby's Classic. He also shot 65.5% (38-58) from the field and 82.4% (14-17) from the foul line.

G Elgin Lee averaged 19.3 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. He also shot 51.7% (30-58) from the field and 70% (14-20) from the foul line.

PG Gregg Wooten averaged 15.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. He also shot 59% (23-39) from the field, 60% (6-10) from beyond the arc, and 64.3% (9-14) from the foul line.

PF Johnny Williams averaged 7.5 points and 8.3 rebounds. He also shot 47.8% (11-13) from the field. Williams overall numbers were low because he often was guarded by much bigger opponents. The semi-finals game against Team Urspring, Germany, featured two 7 footers (one will attend Nebraska, another will attend Miami).
