Les Miles fired....

Gotta be their top target. One of the few programs that could drag him away from the state of Texas.

Being close to Hermans recruiting area I bet youre right -- Houston offered him 5 million a year IF they get in the Big 12 -- LSU will up that amount easy and no waiting on the Big 12 to make a choice

Herman or Petrino have to be the targets right? Offensive guys who can scheme Sabans defense

Who's on the LSU short list? I can't imagine Herman leaving when it looks like USC will open up or the big 12 expands. I can only the PR **** show that would happen if Art Briles was hired.

With Jimbo out of the picture, you have to figure Herman... I wanted Herman at the end of last year.

Herman will take it if offered imo. Dunno if they can afford what petrino will be asking. Also orgeron could possibly take over

We've got LSU in Knoxville next year. I hope its a long and slow process for them to get their guy and whoever they get takes more than a year to get their system in

Just to put this stupidity in context, let's look at Miles' record:

11-2 (7-1)
11-2 (6-2)
12-2 (6-2) * National Champions
8-5 (3-5)
9-4 (5-3)
11-2 (6-2)
13-1 (8-0) * National Runner Up
10-3 (6-2)
10-3 (6-3)
8-5 (4-4)
9-3 (5-3)
2-2 (1-1) * Fired

7-4 in bowl games.

Just plain ol' dumb. Bear Bryant went 6-5 for a stretch. The General himself went 5-something and 4-4 after coming back before turning the ship around.

If Kentucky was smart they'd try their best to jump on getting Miles early before someone else does. Lol

I'd take Les over Lyle

It was probably time at the end of last year, however, with the returning personnel the window had opened... obviously it ain't working. You can't expect to keep the job when you lost 5 of your last 9 regular season games... LSU is 2-5 in the SEC over the last 7,

That ain't working, not with this personnel.

Not dumb at all. He's had ample opportunity to fix the offense and hasn't been able to. They've wasted a ton of offensive skill talent over the past 5-7 years.

A lot of upheaval at the "old guard" SEC schools all of a sudden. We have stability for once. Should be good for us.
