With the rumors lingering around this site and the program that Miles may get the HC gig, I wanted to make a friendly suggestion to my fellow VN members to check out the Les Is More podcast.

Les has been releasing episodes all season, covering:
- tales from many parts of his career, which is very insightful
- general Q&A from fans, also very interesting
- current events - this part is outdated for the most part, but still provides some revealing tidbits

I realize that Les is not the dream hire for a lot of members, but Les Is More has won me over all season, and I would implore whoever is reading this to check out the podcast. It's entertaining at the least, so it's not a waste of time.

For those that have been keeping up, what are your thoughts?

I really liked the story of when he was let go at LSU (he just addressed it head-on), and his recruiting tales. I also like when he talks about big game moments or career decisions that he has had to make. Just cool to get a peek inside that man's head.

Awesome! I think he would be an awesome hire imo.. We would need to have a good OC, but I have no doubt that he could win here.

Hey this is real nice thanks. I wonder if he even knows what a podcast is, what with him being old and decrepit? 64 or 65 years old right?

Les is most that we can hope for, and he’ll get this crazy train back on the rails.

For me, the turning point toward Miles was during the Georgia Tech game with Les's twitter commentary about the game. His passion and knowledge were obvious and i started thinking then that this was the man who needed to take over when Butch got canned. He understands, lives, and breathes smash mouth power football. I want teams to dread playing Tennessee again. I want them to dread it because becaise it HURTS....literally.

Les is less. Almost as old as Phil and probably does not even tweet. That's the gold standard for today's high school recruits. You gotta have pizzazz to recruit in today's market.

Yea... I'm sure tweeting will and does win games. Just look at what it's doing for our president.

I like Miles. I though LSU was foolish for letting him go the way they did. I trace that decision to the stupid play-offs.

LOL At one point Les was the most followed CFB coach on Twitter.

This was just 2 or 3 years ago.

Say what you will about Les, but he is likeable (and a damn good coach). Would be nice for us to get a good coach that is likeable.

Let it be known I was being sarcastic. I enjoyed listening to the first episode of the podcast. It would take me awhile to get used to seeing Les Miles in orange, but I could get used to it pretty quickly, I reckon.
