And forget the “underdog” qualifier. This one of my all time favorite Vol teams. It’s been a lot of fun.

No, Schofield played the best in the first 5 minutes ( 11 points) and then for some strange reason Barnes took him out. Fulkerson was clearly out of his league as he has been all season. You have been holding his jock all year and the best scenario for us is that he transfers and clears up a scholarship for next year.

Barnes took him out because of foul trouble.

Great season that was not expected. I just don't think Barnes is the guy to get us to the next level. Beat KY twice in the reg. season and can't take them in the championship game. I really felt we had the better team tonight but the outcome did not show show it.

We looked pretty good at the start of the game...

Yes, Schofield looked great the first 5 minutes. He's all we had. Barnes took him out at the 15 minute mark and we fell apart. Fulkerson played so good he never got back in the game.

If Barnes doesn't get a point guard in here, we will win 20-21 games next year and will once again fall short of a sweet 16. Can't win in March without guard play.

Get out of town. We’re back baby. Tonight stings but the reality is that we return everyone except for Daniel on a team that was ranked in the top 25 all season and won the regular season conference championship. The SEC coach of the year, player of the year and 6th man of the year will all be back.

We’re up.

Baloney. Next year will be more of the same. High expectations and we will disappoint as usual. You're nuts if you think we win the sec next year or even sniff a three seed. This was a golden opportunity and UT blew it....again. Typical for UT.

He took him out because Admiral picked up his 2nd foul on the Bone missed layup.

Huge play.

That was a huge miss by Bone not only because of the missed 2 points but because Schofiled picked up the foul trying to rebound it. We need a point guard in the worst way.

20-21?

Lol

Remind me of what this years record was?

Next year will be different. We will be playing as the favorite instead of with a chip on our shoulder. In addition, Vandy, LSU and even Miss St. Are bringing in some big time players. Barnes needs a go to player and especially a point guard to make this an elite team.

The Vols met a team of destiny today and lost. It certainly wasn't for a lack of desire to win that Tennessee fell. Clearly they wanted to win it and fought to the end. But there was some reason that the Ramblers needed to win today, and it may be years, or even decades, until someone, somewhere, finally understands why.

Trust.

We did not play with our usual intensity until the final several minutes wasting a lot of energy on catch up, this has been a great year, congratulations to Coach Barnes and this team. Whatever disappointment the fans have pales in comparison to the coach and team!

We are going to get better and to suggest other teams are going to get better but we aren't is just plain ignorant

I thought Bone had a good game today.

We do need another PG. I'm not saying to replace Bone, but we need a 2nd PG. Have 1 scholarship available.

Hope you're right. Depends on the off season for a lot of players, Bowden, Fulkerson, Bone, Walker, Pons, Johnson. Hopefully all of them pick up their level of play because we can't just rely on Williams and Schofield or it will be a replay of this season. Gotta have guard play to go deep in March.

Lol.

Do this for me.

Give me a list of the players that got better from last year to this year.

Then give me a list of how many players didn't get better.

I bet you wont need much time for that second list unless you a completely biased which it seems like you are since you are saying Bone wasn't good today

The SEC gets a lot tougher next year. Teams that we smoked like Vanderbilt and LSU have big time players coming in.
