Our guys are not well coached. No doubt about it. Illegal shift on a QB sneak? False start when just trying to throw the ball to the ground to stop the clock. It is just plain ugly.

The major Problem with UT is Execution and poor execution is the direct result of poor coaching. Its starts at the top. Right now we can't financially afford to get rid of the Coaching staff at UT. Enough said this team is capable of being competitive but the Execution due to poor coaching is the direct result of last week and the poor showing this week. I do not see much improvement with the week off.

It is truly time for CPF to go.

This is crap.

I am not going to argue one way or another on whether or not they are well coached. But you think the coaches "taught" them to shift illegealy on a QB sneak? That was just a player mistake. The coaches didnt teach him to move. It was RB coming up out of his stance too early. Mental mistake

It shows these guys do not even understand basic fundamentals of football situations. No excuse, it is coaching.

I'm pretty sure out coaches have taught the o-line and RB not to move forward before the ball is snapped. That might be put on the player and not the coaches

My thought process: quarterback progression at UT-Peyton Manning, Tee Martin, Casey Clausen, Eric Ainge, Bozo the frickin' Clown!!!!! This guy SUCKS!!!!!

I'm feeling fine, thanks. My allergies have been acting up a little bit lately, but it always happens during the fall.

UTC, try some Allegra-D. It will give you more of a rush than this football team!!! Can somebody tell Luke Stocker that he's supposed to catch the ball when they throw it to him!

This isn't a legitimate gripe, and it's a series of garbage assertions.

There is a certain point at which coaching stops and execution takes over. I've never taught a guy to hold, but I've had guys get called for holding. I've never taught someone to ease off during a play, but I've seen it happen more times than I can count. I've always made sure that everyone that will see the field knows exactly how to not only carry out their basic assignments, but also how to adjust based on different things...and yet I've seen plenty of guys miss assignments no matter how basic it is.

If someone legitimately doesn't have the fundamental or strategic knowledge to carry out the most basic duties related to football, that's a coaching thing. But a guy dropping a pass because he's taking his eyes off the ball isn't a coaching thing, a holding call isn't a coaching thing, an illegal shift isn't a coaching thing, and a guy not being on the line (or being on the line, as it may be) isn't a coaching thing.

When you have a legitimate gripe with coaching, I'll let you know. Trust me.

I think it ought to be a coach's responsibility to let Austin Rogers see less PT as a result of his drops. The same with Luke Stocker. There are talented receivers behind both of those guys.
