Legends of Knoxville radio

Is that the guy that calls John and Jimmy at around the same time almost every day?

If so, yeah, they just need to hire him as a third host. He always makes good points, and has something good to share.

He talks almost exclusively about recruiting. He usually makes fun of himself and almost always gives a loud, semi hysterical laugh at some point during the call. He's even mentioned that he had some type of brain trauma, and I'm pretty sure he wasn't joking. But I love to hear him and truly think he brings some great info about recruiting. He's my favorite caller, hands down.

Steve from Lex. is an institution. I know at one point he used to call in just to listen to the show.

He might be thinking of Jim from Illinois. He's the old guy that always calls in with something like "Hey John. Hey Jimmy. The 1961 Pittsburgh Pirates had a 3rd baseman named Squeaky Madoofino that played 4 innings during a mid-August game against the Indians. Did you guys know he only had 7 and a half fingers? He lost the others when they were bitten off by a rabid beaver during a Montana trapping trip. HAHAHAHA. Anyway, back to the topic at hand, what about Jaahsh Dahbs?"

I can't recall Josh, but you hit the nail on the head with Chris. I think he must sit down and write a script out before every call, then just sits there and reads it til everyone else is exhausted.

The josh usually calls around 4 I think he must call after he gets off work and finishes every call with a Go Vols! I think he is married to a Kentucky fan he mentions from time to time. But yeah he will talk about how awesome he was at high school basketball and the Chris definitely scripts his youre right. He too will talk about being better condition than athletes because he plays soccer. I swear they think we want to hear them as they are nauseating and long winded.

Is Chris the guy that calls in like he's on the Jim Rome show sometimes with a pre-written "take"...then gives them a "What do you guys think about that?"

Love the Cattleman. Has he been banned from every sports talk show in Knoxville ? Never hear him anymore.

Roger, God Bless him, good person and I wish him all the happiness in the world, but look, if I have arthritis in my knees, I don't hike the Smokies. Rog, don't call talk radio.

Phil is pure annoyance. Imagine spending time with that guy ?

I like some of The Drive callers and the Bear is ok, but Russell and Trey can stick it with their condescending attitude. Trey is great at practice and game reports, but is a mental moron otherwise.

Tony Basillio is a yankee, but has become one of us. I appreciate his love for Tennessee.

Hyams is fine, tho that whole radio station's staff sound like UT employees. John Wilkerson never had an opinion of his own without checking with Jimmy - he is simply obnoxious.

During the Bruce Pearl meltdow, R-R-Roger rung Hyams up to get his opinions if Tennessee would kick or receive against Oregon if the Vols won the coin toss, classic radio during very dark days at Tennessee

Love Tony B. Listen to him on app you get less commercials. The other shows out there cater to the university while Tony tells the truth.

If you consider small mike a legend, you would think the dead rotting cow I saw yesterday is worthy of being placed in the louve.

Anyone who finds a reason to admire and recognize that pimple on the ass of the world isn't worth the Charmin extra soft someone wipes their butt with.

IMO this list would be better off incomplete.

Does small mike call anywhere? I know TB banned him from calling him.

Say what you want, TB at least tells it like it is and he doesnt cut off callers who disagree with the state propaganda. Dont listen to heather or those people.

Jimmy hyams is just horrible.

I don't know if he does or not. I haven't listened in so long, I believe a Muslim might be reading the Bible more often.. Probably in part for the reasons you listed, but mostly because the team never can get it together. Oh well, at least we should no longer have to hear people wanting Fulmer back. They are getting that outta their system.
