According to the New Mexico State website, Florida Atlantic is being sent to the Las Cruces portion of the tourney.

What teams will be playing in the legends Classic in Knoxville?
I think it's safe to say that the teams coming to Knoxville will be comparable to the Fordham/UNC-Wilmington/Belmont triumverate we drew in Nashville in the NIT last year.

I still can't believe New Mexico State gets to host games. I really thought they would find someone.
Just about every upper echelon team in college basketball was already signed up for an exempt event. As they keep adding more and more of these tournaments, you're going to see mid majors hosting games in larger numbers.

They really need to stop adding all of these tournaments. The past 2 or 3 years it's kind of getting crazy.

Also, NM State will be decent. I'd rather have them in the tournament than some bottom dwellar out of the PAC 10 or ACC like Oregon State or Miami, even though the 'Canes will be improved this year.

Do you think NMST is going to make the tourney? If they're going to be decent then yeah, I take them over a mediocre major conference team.

They'll be pretty good, so will Nevada. I don't see that league getting two bids this year. Utah State will also be in the title picture. UTEP is probably a year away from making a run.
