So that earlier. Garner was awesome. I loved the run against the great Bama '92 defense.

1993, but nevertheless, one of the best cut and dash runs ever.

Charlie Garner is easily one of the top 5 backs at UT of all time. Probably top 3

To me he was the Barry Sanders of the SEC at this time.This guy could stop on a dime and change directions.He was one of the most exciting RBs I have seen on a Tn team.jmo

Garner was Great! It was like every time he touched the ball he was one step away from breaking it for a touchdown. He had some of the quickest moves I have ever seen from a runningback since I started watching in 1990. He was probably my favorite rb at UT. Had to share time with Aaron Hayden and Lil Man Stewart too.

Heard that backfield was LOADED. Garner said the backfield for the Vols was more loaded than any NFL team he played for. Tomorrow is going to be such an amazing night. Wish I could be there.

Makes me realize how long it's been since UT had a running back of this caliber. Garner's spin moves, speed and trucking people gave me chills.

Watching his highlights put in perspective on how our RB's we have now run. We don't have anyone that makes defenses miss. We don't have anyone that is full speed once they reach the line.
