Hey guys, just got this game from my older brother. He says its one of the best games he had ever played and I have to agree. Does anyone have this and would like to play later tonight around 6:30-9:30 CT? Lets go kill some Zombies!

No, I traded it in over a year ago.....they should really offer health insurance when purchasing this game.

I enjoy it. I think the addition of melee weapons was a great thing to add to the game, among other things

I also kinda like the whole attitude of the game as well

Ok, and yeah melee weapons would be nice to have when hordes of zombies are running at you. Is the variety of guns better or are they practically the same?

yeah they really are. oh and there's something just always amusing about cutting off a zombie's head with an axe or going at them with a chainsaw :)

i think the guns work pretty well; there's much more available to the players in L4D2

here's the list of the weapons available in each game:

Weapons - The Left 4 Dead Wiki - Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Survivors, Infected, walkthroughs, news, and more

shotguns and ak-47s; but really depends on the level i'm going through

enjoy the grenade launcher at times too (though it has only 1 shot per round; so again depends on the level)

the attitude of the second one appeals to me alot more too; especially the zombieland-loving aspect of me (the first feels more "zombie apocalypse, horror, how are we ever going to survive" to me; the second a bit more "oh no zombie apocalypse, but we're southerners, so we sure as hell aren't going down without a fight against these things"....or i think as one of the characters Ellis puts it, "kill all sons o' b!tches")
