LeBron vs Kobe

Bynum starts getting back into shape and playing reasonably well, that won't be a 7 game series, without significant ref intervention on behalf of the Cavs.

As bad as I hate it, I bet your right. LeBron and Co. dont have enough. Unless he does it all by himself.
if he tries all by himself, they will have their asses handed to them. He's just not, and is never going to be, a good enough shooter to get there.

Yeah but he sure can get to the hole.
which is why I mentioned the official help. They help him immensely right now, but it can get worse.

I can't understand why teams don't simply back way off of him and dare him to beat them from 18 feet. It's what teams did in the Olympics and he was awful without fast break points.

I looked it up and actually, LeBron is a .47pct career shooter and Kobe is only .45pct.

I would have thought Kobe was better than that.

Kobe is a perimeter player and doesn't like to pay the price to get buckets in the lane. Jacking up low percentage 3's has a way of messing up your shooting percentage. He's a punk and a rapist. Meanwhile, Lebron James is the real deal and a refreshing alternative to the empty vessel that is Kobe Bean Bryant. Any guy that has a antogonistic relationship with his parents and siblings and any guy that would snitch on a teammate that gave him the very rings he has now (Shaq) is worthless.

What does Kobe's personal life and your views on that life have anything to do with how good a player he is compared to LeBron?

What a joke. Kobe easily has the best skill set in the game, and its really not a close as people think. Lebron will NEVER be the all round player Kobe is. He is just an athletic freak who dunks it every play.

this I dispute. He's not going to be the offensive skill guy and probably won't ever defend as well, but he can do things that Kobe won't either. He's as good of a passer and better rebounder than Kobe.

There are several current players that I'd rather have in the half court offensive set, but not for the all around game. LBJ is a much better defender than he started out as and has a reasonably broad range on D. LBJ initiates the offense well and is good with the rock in his hands. He's just never going to be a deadly shooter, so folks can always goad him into jumpers. When he loses a step, he'll slide much more quickly than Kobe or MJ because of his shooting issues.

How is there going to be a Lakers-Cavs matchup in the finals when the Nuggets beat the Lakers in the West Conf. Finals?

In all seriousness, I'll take LeBron, but it's kinda like asking me who's hotter? Non-fat Jessica Simpson, or Megan Fox. I can't decide.

I will say, LeBron is probably more physically gifted (in terms of size and speed at least) than anyone in the association. Dwight Howard is the only one who comes to mind that may compete for that.
But, Kobe Bryant is literally incredible at everything. He doesn't get to the rack as much now because his knees are going, but it really doesn't matter when you can shoot like him. I could be wrong, Bron is a beat, but I just feel Kobe will always be better.

Main difference I see between them is with one of them you need to hide your wife, the other you do not. I will let you decide who is who.

i'll take lebron over kobe. lebron can get to the hole, which is a much higher shooting percentage than the 3. he rebounds, he passes, and to me just seems like much more of a team player than kobe.

Kobe is a all around better player than LBJ. LBJ can get to the bucket any time he wants, Kobe has lost a step & his knees are going. Take Kobe a handful of years ago & he could get to the bucket anytime he wants. The only thing LBJ has on Kobe is size & speed. Kobe would out shoot LBJ anyday of the week, Kobe is a better defender, & imo a better passer. LBJ is a better rebounder though. But if i had to win 1 game who would i take!? For me it would be Kobe.

Damn.....James with the cold-mother-effing-blooded triple to beat the Magic at the buzzer. Incredible.

The interview was awful, but the shot was a rim rattling, heartbreaker. That's how legends are made.
