Lebron vs. Jordan

They didn't reach the conference finals so obviously they are not.

Your opinion says they are, the results say they are not. The results win.

Who cares if they can't deliver??? That's the story of LBJ's career so far. They have the talent to win.

I see you didn't bother responding to my post...I wouldn't either if I were you...like I said...Mo was splitting playing time in Milwaukee...Antawn can't guard anyone...Shaq is just a big body.

Mo/Antawn/Shaq would not start for the Celtics.

Part of talent is delivering so if they can't deliver clearly they don't have the talent you think they do.

The Cavs are not a title contender plain and simple.

The Celtics packed it in and would not let Lebron drive at all and no one on the Cavs hit any shots with consistancy. Shaq is old and Jamison was outplayed by Garnett and Big Baby in the series.

Well they did reach the conference finals last year without Jamison and Shaq, who are upgrades over who they had.

Um, the Pistons were old and we saw how a supposedly better Atlanta team played this year in the playoffs. The Celtics are vastly superior to both of those teams with a healthy Garnett. Don't kid yourself...

Shaq's name makes them championship caliber his play does not. He averaged 13 and 5 this series. Again thinking a 38 year old was going to make the difference was false hope.

Ive said it before, and I'll say it again. The entire state of Ohio is allergic to championships.

A 38 year-old who can barely move does not make you championship caliber.

He's still an upgrade over Z and they also added Jamison who's another scorer, usually.

Well his argument was Cleveland not making it to the conference finals. May have been easier last year but they still made it there and made supposed improvements this season.

My argument is based on facts. The results show they are not championship caliber and thinking a 38 year-old Shaq is putting them over the top is wishful thinking.

What has Jamison done to prove he is championship caliber?

About as much as LBJ has done. Whether you think they're championship caliber or not, do you not think Shaq and Jamison upgraded their talent over last season? Both are past their prime but Shaq is still tough to guard for 25 min a game and Jamison is a better scorer than anyone else they had at that spot last year.

The Cavs are a team made for the regular season where defense is much more relaxed. When they get into the playoffs and teams start playing D and being physical the Cavs fall apart because they don't have anyone opposite LBJ who can score consistanly. Couple that with the fact that Lebron is not a great mid range or long range shooter and teams will just pack it in and not let him drive everytime down, thus showing again that the Cavs have nobody who scores consistanly to help him out.Posted via VolNation Mobile

They are a championship capable team that underperformed when it was the time to shine.

I can agree with that. It's just that when you have the best regular season record and the league MVP, you would at least expect a better showing. Some of the losses to Boston were just pathetic.

Lebron is basically a point forward. One of the best pure passers the league has ever seen. If the Cavs had a few great shooters who were consistant, teams could not pack it in like they do and it would open it up to more driving by James.

Jamison has lead a team practically on his won to the finals?

Shaq is an upgrade in name alone.

And if you look at the numbers from when Shaq was injured the Cavs averaged more points and gave up less points when he was out.
