Lebron vs. Jordan

I would say you are wrong.

And I don't care. LeBron's d is media hype about a bunch of blocks from behind. Kobe has spent the vast majority of his career drawing the best offensive player on the other squad because he can on and off ball D. He might take risks for steals, but he was their stopper because he can. LeBron isn't the stopper because he can't.

LeBron doesn't have a Pippen or Rodman, but is carrying his team to Eastern Conference/NBA finals. He is also the better athlete. At this point in their careers, I would say Jordan was a better shooter. I can't really decide who is the better player

Pippen was only in his second year as was Horace Grant when Jordan was 25 and no Rodman.

I don't think I would ever call him a monster honestly.

So many people discredit Pippen, all he did was score, rebound, make plays for others and play the best D on the team.

Jordan is the main reason they won, but without Pippen, none of it happens.

They're a bunch of fair weather buffoons. He can D. LeBron can't.

He can play D but it's a vastly overrated skill of his.

You say that he D's up the opposing teams best player, I guess that is why the signed Artest and why he wants no part of Durant.

If you don't think that those blocks mean something your delusional.

A guy thinks he has a free one an "woosh" out of nowhere comes LeBron to put an end to that thought.

Those blocks usually lead to a fast break for the Cavs, it's a huge momentum swing.

It's usually on a fast break, and if the other team is on a fast break then you screwed up in the first place.

Their transition D is as good as anyone in the league.

LeBron is the reason why, he erases mistakes by others and creates opportunities.

Assuming you've got a man going up for a solo lay-up/dunk on the fast break and LeBron going up after, that leaves both teams resetting with four for a split second.

Yes, it's a good way to erase a mistake and a valuable skill to have, but it's not really a pivotal play so much as a nice Sportscenter highlight.

It deflates an opposing team and lifts his team.

that's a very recent change because dude's now of the age that he can't burn the same energy nightly.

I didn't intend to say they mean nothing. The mean a little, but at the rate of one every couple games, how the hell much can it really mean?

about as much as Mo's dunk meant. total sportscenter and analyst's exaggeration.
