Leave the family out of it.

how is hoping someone "breaks their ankles and gets the drizzling sh!ts" any different???

What does "drizzling sh1ts" mean anyway?

And by the way Dooley gets paid millions to get heckled. He said the players want to get cheered when they are successful but they don't want the negative responses. The same goes for the coach.

I'm not even sure why I come back to argue this point.

Dooley gets paid millions to take reasonable criticism, not get heckled following his postgame press conference while his wife and kids are standing next to him in a confined space underneath a stadium.

People wanting to make that acceptable is absolutely pitiful.

Not in the eyes of the Dooley defenders. In their eyes he can do no wrong. The players, othe asst coaches, the media and fans are fair game. But don't dare blame the guy responsible for the teams play.

AGAIN, in my original post I stated Dooley and UT need to go their separate ways. That means released, terminated, relieved of coaching duties, FARRED BUH GAWD FARRED.

Please, feel free to check that. Or keep ignoring it because it doesn't fit this nice little narrative you've crafted for yourself.

After reading through this thread it's easy to see that there are several posters on here that never got an a** whipping from their Daddy.

Dooley has been a true gentleman and has represented the university well. However, I do not believe he is the man for the job. I wish him the very best in the future. Now go get Gruden...

Brice and Low mentioned people heckling Dooley after yesterday's game...while he was standing with his wife and kids. Apparently it upset one of his sons.

That is pathetic, and has no place. I think it is time for he and UT to go their separate ways, but by no means does that permit me to act like an ass.

You are absolute human garbage if you would heckle a man in front of his family.

To quote my grandfather, I hope anybody that does that breaks their ankles and gets the drizzling sh!ts.

The man is a millionaire, his kids will likely never have to work a day in their life, and his career is not likely to end anytime soon. Don't feel too bad for him folks, this kind of garbage is just a reality of the job. You take the big stage and fail, you're going to be heckled.

However, I agree that it is NEVER appropriate to heckle a man while his kids are with him. Show some decency, we are not apes in a zoo.

Then obviously my post wasn't aimed at you. You must have either a very high sense of self importance or a bad reading comp.

With a fan base in the millions you are going to run into a few bad apples. After another huge loss and another 0'fer in Oct. Dooley should of had the foresight to call his fam and tell them he will meet them at the hotel/air port/home. Not saying what the fan did was classy or right but sporting events are notorious for getting rowdy.

Dooley needs to blame someone on being a bad father as well as a bad coach... Jk!

our coach and his family deserve respect.(but,he isn't winning and he should expect a certain amount of heckling).no,dd and his family deserve respect.......

this is not about the coaching job.this is about having some class and treating someone the way you would want to be treated back....

thank you op for this thread.agree 100%

Says the guy that hopes people break their ankles.

Ha. Nice joke post. A+ asshattery.

There is no need to heckle Dooley even if he is by himself. And there certainly is no reason to bring his wife and kids into it. In fact, if I or any Vol fan witness this kind of behavior, I think it is perfectly acceptable to step into the situation to protect Dooley's family and to even get physical if necessary.

Look, the man gave this job his best. He just couldn't give it done. Let's respect the effort, graciously pat him on the back and wish him well -- it is called class.

It just shows what kind of people the UT fanbase is infected with. Stooping so low you'd insult a man in front of his kids and wife, not to mention ignoring an obviously upset kid. It clearly illustrates such a person is a pre-protoplasmic virus marauding as a Homo Habilis individual.

Rowdy is another name for immature brat a-holes.

ice, you iced it. I don't cotton to where fans act like plugged rectal cavities and someone makes the backhanded excuse of YES, BUT. . . . I'm pretty sure Dooley and his team believed they were going to beat SC past misfortunes notwithstanding. And in his confidence wanted his family there to witness it. The game didn't turn out the way he expected and those pre-protoplasma homo habilis things felt justified to act the way they did and brag about it.

Tiny knew he had miscalculated on the play and he was genuinely upset Clowney had gotten past him. I didn't see the whole game as Shirley and I had a community event that lasted until the final 25 minutes of the game. We rushed to a nearby Buffalo Wings to catch the rest. But from what little I grasped, it seems that Tiny mostly held off Clowney during the game but that one play got by him. Of course the imbecile species of fans see this as CDD's fault too. This team in my view has under-performed in some games, but never underplayed in terms of effort. We've had just rotten luck in terms of timing of key injuries, calls that weren't made or went against us despite the evidence, and yes, at times some very questionable play calling. Still this team has come to play in every game when they had reason to just throw up their hands and say "fuq - ed!"
