I have heard a lot of craziness on here and I have said multiple times that if you just learn a little philosophy and actual coaching and stop just watching the football your points would actually be valid. Furthermore, is there anyone on here that would like some people to break down recruiting tape to see what makes them good or great? Would you guys want to know what to look for in a game or why a play worked or why it didn't? I have always wondered if you guys actually just wanna complain or if you actually wanna know what you are talking about? I am really not trying to be a jerk... it is a sincere question? Sorry about the grammar issues in advance.
Ok. I'll bite.
Tell me what you like and don't like about our 3 RB recruits this year. What do you see as a positive and what do you think they will need to work on most?
I think it'd benefit everyone if the more knowledgeable guys, (supposedly) like yourself, went over the intimate details of the game of football with us lowly, average fans. There would be a lot to gain from it. But, right now, you're just coming off as condescending imo. Maybe that's your intention...
But if you've been here for 2+ years you should have figured out who knows their stuff by now, even if you're not on much.
My apologies that wasn't my intention... Rough morning... Sincerely. Anyways I just thought it would honestly would make the game a lot more fun to watch because you can try and figure out the chest match that goes on in games that a lot of fans miss because they simply don't know what to look for...
Lyle, I think it best for everyone of you cancel your account rather than try to justify some of the stupidity you allowed to happen last year. It was clear your buddy Debord wasn't in a chess match, he just picked random plays and hoped they worked. There clearly was no strategy on your O.
I know the university pays you a ton of money to be a coach for a living but coming on this board was a bad idea. Rather than try to talk your way into getting us to buy that mess was a strategy, use this time to go get some real talent here and learn how to call a game and setup plays so that they lure a D exactly where you want them.
