When Volnation is ready, the coach will appear.

You stirred up our hunger for the top secret playbook, don't hold out on us now!

I have heard a lot of craziness on here and I have said multiple times that if you just learn a little philosophy and actual coaching and stop just watching the football your points would actually be valid. Furthermore, is there anyone on here that would like some people to break down recruiting tape to see what makes them good or great? Would you guys want to know what to look for in a game or why a play worked or why it didn't? I have always wondered if you guys actually just wanna complain or if you actually wanna know what you are talking about? I am really not trying to be a jerk... it is a sincere question? Sorry about the grammar issues in advance.

Great a 5 star arm chair qb

I think it'd benefit everyone if the more knowledgeable guys, (supposedly) like yourself, went over the intimate details of the game of football with us lowly, average fans. There would be a lot to gain from it. But, right now, you're just coming off as condescending imo. Maybe that's your intention...

But if you've been here for 2+ years you should have figured out who knows their stuff by now, even if you're not on much.

Ok. I'll bite.
Tell me what you like and don't like about our 3 RB recruits this year. What do you see as a positive and what do you think they will need to work on most?

I haven't seen any film on chandler....and the only one I have seen is Timothy Jordan... I like him I'm not sure about speed he seems pretty fluid I don't see a lot of wasted movement he cuts well and goes.... I am actually pretty intrigued about him because he shines when he is in space... if I was coachin him.... because that's what I do as a job... btw.... not a armchair quarterback.... I would see how I could get him involved in the pass game he runs pretty physical and doesn't shy away from contact... although a lot of people think we run a lot of zone read it is more of a power game so he is suited well for it but I would like to see him on some third down situations and I would take it from there... And the reason I say that is because John Kelly is suited perfectly for this offense and CFA seems to be decent hasn't had a lot of opportunity and that's all I know on him but this kid is dynamic with the ball in his hand.... A lot of makes a player successful at the college level is the obvious skill and Football IQ however what makes the really good ones main stay that might be lacking in either of those departments is determination... That is why I believe Shannon Reid will be one to keep an eye on in this class

My apologies that wasn't my intention... Rough morning... Sincerely. Anyways I just thought it would honestly would make the game a lot more fun to watch because you can try and figure out the chess match that goes on in games that a lot of fans miss because they simply don't know what to look for...

Lyle, I think it best for everyone of you cancel your account rather than try to justify some of the stupidity you allowed to happen last year. It was clear your buddy Debord wasn't in a chess match, he just picked random plays and hoped they worked. There clearly was no strategy on your O.

I know the university pays you a ton of money to be a coach for a living but coming on this board was a bad idea. Rather than try to talk your way into getting us to buy that mess was a strategy, use this time to go get some real talent here and learn how to call a game and setup plays so that they lure a D exactly where you want them.

No strategy on O is silly.

Make sure they put it all in one thread so we can conveniently ignore it.

What team is it you said you were currently coaching?

I came to this cite hoping to be able to discuss X's and O's. I'd love to. I don't have anyone close to me that can go a full conversation about it. My hope is to one day be a football coach. I'm dying to get back into it.
