It's easy to beat up on the team but the buck stops with the HC.

If I were the head of a major company getting paid $4M per year and put out the product Pruitt generates I'd expect to get my walking papers immediately. We as alumni and fans need and demand change. There's enough evidence to cut losses and terminate Pruitt. In my business I profess the adage if you fail, fail early. Pruitt is a fail. Cut ties, be respectful, say it didn't work and get in fresh blood. Anger should turn away from the players and focus on the people who cut Pruitt his check. Ride their ass and change will come.

Well said....I’ve expressed the same since Dooley. I’m a big hit with the “if you don’t support the coach you don’t support the team” crowd.

It will never happen, but contracts should have realistic expectations. If they are not met, you're fired. Just like the real world. No buyout, move along.

For all we know the contract does have realistic expectations based on the train wreck that Pruitt was walking into when he accepted the job.

Perhaps the UTAD / Fulmer fully expected this to be a 4-5 year rebuild and know that there will be bumps in the road like we are having right now.

There is the possibility that Pruitt is actually exceeding expectations at this point in time.

The coach can't run down the sideline and keep a receiver in front of him with ten second left in a ball game to ensure a win

Maybe in an alternate universe? SMDH!

Losing is NEVER exceeding expectations.

Fooley's or Botch's tenures never started out this rough. Fooley was so bad UT actually ran him off in 3 years. You got to be pretty bad for this bunch to run you off before you've had at least 5 or 6 years to go backward. This guy isn't getting that long. He's setting himself up for a make or break year next year, if he makes it to next year. I'm not so sure now. This has all the makings of 1-6 start.

Again in one season Mack Brown has UNC competitive??? And UT can't beat BYU or Ga St.

I agree, it’s unrealistic to expect Tennessee, a team littered with 4 and 5 star guys to beat a team in ga state who hasn’t even existed in football but for 10 years and is littered with 1 stars in only Pruitt’s second year... but at least we followed that up with losing a game that literally all we had to do was not let them throw a 60 yard pass on us at the end of the game to win. damn I wish people like you were my boss.
