Of the last four 5 stars we've signed, 3 turned out to be beasts (James, Patterson, Rogers) and 1 still has a year to emerge (Couch). Janzen Jackson and Bryce Brown were studs too, but Kiffin recruited them and Dooley couldn't "handle" them. You're gonna have busts, but that doesn't mean you start recruiting a bunch of 3 stars that will play their heart out because you'll probably lose games due to a talent gap. Sorry, that's just how it works.
Another thing is that all 4-5 star kids aren't premadonnas. Some of them put in just as much work as walk-ons, which is a reason some of them a rated so high (TKjr).
For the record, none of this is pointed directly at this kid. He could turn out to be a baller after his Sr year.
