It will do nothing to change the balance of power federally, but will genuinely **** the people of Florida. The Socialist moron Gillum wants an income tax here. I am guessing there will be a giant sucking sound should one be implemented. I can't leave soon enough.

There were some other articles from (equally?) left slanted sources stating that the attorneys were contacting the people whose votes had been tossed to determine if they were actually non-citizens or to have them come correct whatever error resulted in the vote being thrown out and asking them to come down and give testimony, but that the commission who had decided they were non citizens wouldn’t hear from them to allow them to prove their citizenship.

Those articles had quotes from some of the lawyers and individuals in question and seemed to provide a little more context.

Why don't you explain why allowing non US citizens to vote in elections is a good thing. Forget this story. Just explain what possible reason they could have for wanting non citizens to be allowed to vote.

Barnett said that people in the room witnessed attorneys Jack Scarola, representing the Nelson campaign, and Barry Richard, laughing afterward. Barnett was not present at the time. Gillum attorney Barry Richard “tried to play it off as a joke, but we’re not taking it as a joke,” he said. “Maybe they don’t grasp how serious it is, but we take it very seriously.”

“The elections for governor and the senate hang on what happens here in Palm Beach County and in Broward,” he added.

They are not objecting so that non-citizens can vote. They are objecting because they believe that they are actually citizens. Hundreds of voters were purged from the voter rolls in Fl & Ga based on the erroneous claim that they weren’t citizens. Some were notified and were able to then show proof of citizenship. Others didn’t find out until they showed up to the polls. This mainly occurred in strongly democratic leaning precincts.

If these people showed up to vote and can prove their citizenship, why shouldn’t their votes count?
