Latest from WVU

Charlotte is home to Tennessee alumni too.

Imagine that.

But hey if it’s 60/40 them mountaineers are in for a long ride home and Dana will feel the pressure Wk 2

Some notes: Dana says WVU used "or" on the depth chart just because Tennessee did. He says it doesn't really matter. McKoy will get the start for WVU at RB but true frosh Leddie Brown has been the most impressive RB in fall camp.

Dana doesn't think Pruitt will use two QBs that extensively because their styles are so different. He thinks Pruitt is astute enough to recognize WVU's weakness last year was on DL and he expects the Vols to make WVU prove they can stop the run.

Both USC transfer Kenny Bigelow and Clemson transfer Jabril Robinson have won starting jobs on the DL.

That he expects WVU fans to outnumber Vols fans 60-40 on Saturday. Charlotte is home to over 300,000 WVU alums and ticket sells have been exceptional.

They expect over 68,000 and if its not a sell out its not going to be WVU's fault.

Charlotte has a trailer park that holds 300,000 people? That's amazing. Whoda thunk it?

Oh...and your village called.

The whole UT system just cleared the 300,000 mark in the past decade or so, but WVU has that many in Charlotte alone? Out of 700,000+ people in Charlotte, I’d wager everything I own that there aren’t even that many WVU fans, much less that many graduates. Lol.

Your AD should resign immediately.
Maybe he meant democrats.

WVUs stadium only seats 60,000......

UTs stadium seats 102,455 and is almost always packed.

Knoxville is approximately 230 miles away from Charlotte. (Roughly 3hrs 40mins)

Morgantown is approximately 377 miles away from Charlotte. (Roughly 6hrs 6mins)

You really think you will have a better showing then UT being 2hrs and 20mins further away with a smaller fanbase??? Lol you have lost it @WVMULE

800,000 people in Charlotte and 300,000 graduated from WVU? You sir are lying.

I have watch a couple of his press conferences. Is he a smoker? He seems to have some respiratory issues.

Lol ...you guys struggled to average 57k in your own stadium and the article said that was an increase from previous years . Let me show you why that just doesn’t impress us . 8C764844-7CAB-491D-B1D6-397F1F0B2F03.jpeg

Here you go

That is because WVU is wondering who will buy the 10k that they still have unsold of the 12k they were allocated. :D

To the OP, you are strait up delusional to think there will be more WVU fans there than Vols - besides, people like to follow a winner ;)

Just like the outcome of the game, I guess anything is possible, but I would be very surprised if this is the case. Tennessee population, fan base, tradition, and history of fans traveling are way more than anything WVU could claim. We'll see, I guess, but if all of this is bull, we'll never hear from this OP again.

The total population of Charlotte is just over 800,000.... So almost 300,000 are WV alumni?
