While it sounds like ya'll are on a ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH, I suspect you'll be crying a SWEET SURRENDER by halftime, because both lines are LOOKING FOR SPACE. You'll be saying, "PLEASE DADDY, -- I"M SORRY" as you're LEAVING ON A JET PLAIN and thanking God you're BACK HOME AGAIN.

Take your BS and go play on a WVU forum. The majority of the fans here believe it will be a close game. Many fans believe WVU has a good offense. There is certainly a possibility Tennessee will lose on Saturday, but there is also a possibility WVU loses as well. WVU really has no chance at the CFB Playoffs. Your team is not the greatest team to ever play the game so quit acting like there will be a halftime ceremony on Saturday to go ahead and induct tour whole team to the CFBHOF.

Anything can happen in CFB, but generally Vegas odds makers keep things close to accurate. Now, in a close spread anything can happen. In larger spreads you generally know who will win; however, it is always possible for an upset to occur. Take into consideration the odds for WVU this season.
According to Vegas, there are 3 teams in the Big 12 that are more likely to win the Big12 Championship than WVU. Those teams in order are Oklahoma, Texas, and TCU. WVU is tied at 4th with Oklahoma State at -800.

For the BCSCG, WVU has 19 teams more likely to win the championship game than WVU who is tied at 20th.

There are 4 QB’s with better preseason odds to win the Heisman than Grier

The preseason team wins for WVU is set at 7.5 wins.

Now, I do not live and die by the odds and I’ve certainly made money betting against the odds before, but there are some pretty large odds here. It is funny how the “experts” who make money based on being right have gotten all so wrong. According to your posts, I should immediately throw $10,000 on WVU to win the BCSCG for a guaranteed $1,000,000 return.

The breakout has been TE Javoni Haskins. Haskins has shown incredible hands and has the speed and size to take advantage of LB coverage. If Haskins has a weakness its blocking. If he's in the game then he's likely a target or a decoy.

The RBs have been somewhat disappointing with 4* frosh Leddie Brown being the only true standout. Brown, 6'1", 190, will not start but he might just get the bulk of the carries.

Dana and DC Tony Gibson have done nothing to curtail expectations. As a matter of fact both have been downright cocky.

Its a safe bet that WVU will use a three WR set with TE Trevon Wesco in as h-back for max protect to start the game. They expect Tennessee to blitz early and often and exploit the matchups that result.

Expect Grier to take a few shots deep early especially if Sills has double coverage and Simms or Simmons are one-on-one.

You may be right, that you won't turn over the ball often, but as for "plenty" will be necessary?

Not so, per TCU 2017. You turned over the ball only once vs TCU last year, and still lost 24-31. And TCU was called for 5 penalties for 51 yards loss (to yours, as only 2 for 25).

Like TCU, Tennessee can still beat you, even if you have few, or only 1 turnover (and fewer lost yardage from penalties).

I'm really only concerned about our secondary and the dline not getting pressure on QB.
But I can at least see our flaws and point them out.
I hope the vols come out as mad as most of volnation lol

You are missing the point, Jack.

We're not a 4-win team. That was last year's team. Far too many things have changed since then for the normal "extrapolate from last year" math to work.

No one knows what this year's team is yet. That is the point. In just about every thread this off-season.
