Latest Draft projections for Chaz?

Broome is 10th best available on the espn list, so probably, Chaz is also 8th on that list.
You have more confidence in ESPN’s draft guesses than myself. I think Chaz’s skill set translates much better to the NBA than Broome’s. JMO

I’m disappointed that the Lakers didn’t trade Dalton for something, anything. Just want him out of that organization.

The Lakers organization is being reorganized. Maybe the new majority owner doesn’t want to lose Dalton. They have a political hot potato to manage with LeBron not yet retired, Magic a part owner, the Dodgers as a sister business (and their woke-ness), and Jenny Buss wanting to still retain the appearance of being in charge. It’s a nutty environment to navigate.

Interesting first day of draft...seems quite a few teams drafted a need rather than best available.
I think he's a good pick, but was surprised to see Walter Clayton Jr. go 18th

Of course the Grizzlies end up trading for Cedric Coward...missed last season with injury and hasn't proven anything at a higher level than Eastern Washington, went 11th too so the argument that he could have returned to school to improve stock holds no water. Him going that high and some other players going high just makes me realize this draft was a bit weaker in talent than others.

I could see Chaz going to Hornets...his off the bench shooting would be helpful for them. They could lose Seth Curry and Tre Mann to free agency both shot over 2.5 3s a game and 40% for them. Ball and Miller are the main offensive threats and take a lot of shots, but a guy off the bench like Chaz would can knock them down would be a big add. They also have 2 early 2nd round picks

Jenny Buss will not be in her position for long, the new Majority Ownership er Mark Walter will bring his own people in within a year..

Maybe she’ll stick around until LeBron hangs it up. It’s his option to play 2025-26 for $50 million plus. He also has one more kid that he wants to be teammates with. Hopefully the new ownership tells him that that clown show won’t happen.

Was he there with his family? Asking because he didn't get interviewed. Glad to see him get picked up.
