Saw an analysis of the virus. It cannot be transmitted from humans, only from mosquitos. It's been around for a while. Causes severe joint pain. Likely to spread, but no cause for covid-like measures. There is a vaccine for it.Not Covid but Guangdong Province in China is implementing strict COVID-like measures. This is due to a mosquito virus. Almost to the point of locking down.

There is a good bit of variability in reporting, but the 12-18 group accounted for the vast majority of doses.
In the under 4 age group, between 2 and 3.5% likely received one, depending on which source you read.
Less than 5% of children of all age groups has received either of the past two "boosters."
I think it's safe to say that the AAP is probably choosing the wrong hill to fight for. A little dive into contributions from vaccine manufacturers *might* provide a clue as to why.
