While Dr. Anthony Fauci admits most “so-called immune boosting” supplements being marketing amid Covid-19 mostly do “nothing,” he does believe in the benefits of vitamin D.
“If you are deficient in vitamin D, that does have an impact on your susceptibility to infection. So I would not mind recommending, and I do it myself taking vitamin D supplements,” Fauci, 79, said during an Instagram Live on Sept. 10.
Most ppl in hospital that we check are deficient.

You got big league left-fielder prospects. You got an agent yet?

The woman getting tased at the football game, what idiocy. She wasn’t sitting within 15 feet of anyone (outdoors mind you) but let’s get 3-4 up in her business to harangue her about a mask. If you really thought she had the plague you’d be fine with her sitting alone.

So CJP's post-game comments have had me thinking today, and I've come to an interesting (and sad) realization.

Serious question: why exactly are universities (and certain pro sports) limiting their athlete's activities, freedoms, and requiring uncomfortable testing multiple times a week?

No. They’re keeping the athletes on lockdown to get the sports revenue stream juiced back up.
Correct. It has nothing to do with their health, as their risk is approximately zero. In other words, these athletes are being robbed of their liberties and close to a year of normal college "life," while being subjected to a multitude of uncomfortable tests, even though they are healthy, so that teams can be at or near full-strength for games. It's needless exploitation.

I understand why schools are doing it, so the answer is to change the guidelines for quarantine and testing. Somebody is going to have to stand up and demand a change.
