Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Thanks, It took me getting tired of being fat. Tired of not being able to do what I wanted to. Tired of not recognizing myself in pictures or reflections. Until I had enough of myself I couldnt change.

I tried dieting and working out as a weight loss regimen. But that didnt work. It didnt really start until I decided to change my lifestyle to be healthier. It wasnt a diet, it's what I eat. It's not working out to gain muscle, its exercise that I enjoy. And applicable exercises. I want to be able to hike, so working out my upper body didnt make sense. But getting out and walking did.

It's all small stuff, no secrets, main thing is change the mindset.
You look good but I wished you'd kept more bootie. McDaddy likes a big ol bootie.

I tell patients that weight loss is 90% what and how you eat and 10% exercise. One cannot out exercise a bad diet.
Not when you are old. As I kid I ate 4 or 5k calories a day. Couldnt gain weight even with doctors orders. I was running 7 miles/42min a day as a warm up before soccer practice.

Gained about 20lbs when I stopped running due to knee issues.

Going stir crazy from lack of exercise I started lifting weights. Bad decision. Much tougher to burn the calories lifting than running. Got up to about 200lbs looking like Adonis. But couldnt keep that up. All that muscle mass turned into fat and then some.

Been working on it since college, almost 9 years to lose what I gained in about 2.

Same. I use the example of liquid calories and explain how long you have to walk or run to work off the sugar/corn syrup from each cup of soda or sweet tea.

About a month ago lots of local news sources around the country started asking about positive covid test being counted more then once....they all got responses with thr word ONCE in caps denying it...and slowly but surely positive test results have gone down....scamdemic. not near the level of h1n1

As pandemic drags on, Publix removes one-way shopping aisles

Noticed this at local Publix tonight. Took me a minute for it to register that two way traffic is allowed again.
I have yet to see the one way things work. Pointless.

I saw an article about how businesses are dealing with people in the office. One had made a one way circular path around the floors for movement. But it meant if you sat 5 feet down the line from the bathrooms you had to walk all the way around the floor. Now if the idea is to contain the spread of a virus, why would you make a potentially sick person expose themselves to an entire floor as opposed to walking 5 feet "the wrong way"?

I got approved for telecommuting so I couldn't care less what they do at the office. I was the only one in my department that volunteered months ago. Now the others are starting get the picture. First it was back in the office by end of May. Then middle of July. Then Labor Day. Now it's January and that's not happening either. The school situation can change here every two weeks ad infinitum, so as long as that's the status quo no one will be going back.

smdh, but at least you did not use your go to vox for info.

Indoor dining is set to resume in Philadelphia at 25-percent capacity on Sept. 8, according to Fox 29. Outdoor dining returned there in June after restaurants were shut down because of the coronavirus, while indoor dining has been permitted elsewhere in Pennsylvania.
