lol @ everyone flipping out. Yeah he committed to us, but he doesn't have an offer to commit to ... yet. We're going to wait and see who we pull in the next couple days before we extend him an offer.

I initially thought like most other people that this was a pickup to just get some numbers in the program, but after watching his highlight video, i like this kid a lot. Definitely has some speed and good football instincts, put him in the weight room for a couple of years and this guy could be a competitor

Back in 2004 LSU signed a 1* kid from FL at line backer you may have heard of him Ali Highsmith this was back in the Dooley days at LSU

I am not going tit for tat with you but you voiced it and then voiced it again and then restated it by attacking others.

Point is he does not have an offer to accept at this moment and I am very proud to know that he is a Boy Scout. An Eagle Scout and not a gun toting 7/11 robber. That has a ton of will and determination that CDD and CLT are interested in having here at UT to Play Football.

I think that the coaches can handle on it. Relax.

Your opinions are welcomed but do not attack others as you have done so when they disagree with you. About 90% disagree with you. No need to defend it. Let it Go. See how it plays out. May not even happen.

Lance may have had his eye on this kid for a while. Maybe he wanted to keep the bidding low until there was no more time in the 2010 auction- keep sniping them Lance.

AND I have it on good authority that his Eagle project was making a Gator belt and boots

I am drinking the Doolaid don't get me wrong but is anyone else worried we are getting stuck with LA Tech talent at a top tier SEC school? I know CDD can coach em up and the staff knows what they are doing. I just hope we aren't taking fliers on guys just to fill a class. Its seems to me that we are still getting big name recruits coming to UT even considering what happen with the coaching change a few weeks ago. Just because CDD also brings in a few slightly less rated players that he may have already seen something in doesn't mean that we are going to start exclusively recruiting 2* players or anything. We've landed quite a few 4* players so far and i'm sure that trend will continue, especially next year when our new staff will be fully staffed and have a whole year to scout and evaluate talent. One or two recruits with less than 4*s doesn't mean we are suddenly recruiting at a LA Tech level. Get real! Big time players are going to want to come to UT...not LA Tech. And, all recruits can't be 4 or 5 stars. Go Vols!

Was it Kif or Ogre that said they didnt recruite stars to build a high ranked recruiting class? They were going to evaluate the individuals talent level and potential. My guess is that is along Dooley's gangs philosophy as well. That is what makes them pros, and the rest of us rumour mongers, speculators, and gossip whores.

If everyone is so worried about stars look at the Vols 2007 class i believe it was full of 4 and 5 stars and see how they turned out.

everyone criticizing this recruit is retarded. there's a reason why you don't have a job coaching football. a 1* on scout and 0* on rivals means that he hasn't been evaluated. This may be because he didn't go to any camps or something it doesn't mean he is a sh*tty player. He plays in class 6A and looking at his highlight video this kid is a stud. He is fast and is a playmaker. All you **** act like you support CLT and CDD but question their decisions.

guys i know some prospects fly under the radar because tehy do not have the funds to get to camps to get noticed.. all they can go by is game film so alot of good prospects probably go unnoticed... am i saying this guy is special player...no... but lets see how cdd develops him at a prestigious school such as THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE.

Dooley had three weeks to work with. Some of you are ridiculous in your expectations. Hughes had zero stars at one point too.

I've watched his video and I like him a lot more than a lot of three star players.
