Nonsense. The SEC is just feeding on each other, especially teams playing at home.
A #2 overall conference RPI and Lunardi thinks the SEC gets only 4 bids? Uh, no. 5 bids, minimum. We've been accustomed to 6 in recent years. The difference this year is that the conference bottom feeders are far more competitive than they have been.
In fact, the SEC could still yet get 6 bids, although a few things would have to happen: Alabama would have to win 2 more games, and either Ole Miss, Miss. St. or Georgia would have to reach the finals (or win outright) the SECT.
