Looks like the momentum for Malone has swung from UT to UGA so, hopefully, we can turn that around. Better sick Wharton and Hurd on him!

Vols are still in good shape with Malone. I just spoke with the coaches at playmaker academy. They/we are trying to steer him to knoxville. He has only been in TN a short time and is originally from Va. He grew up a VA tech fan. Dawgs were just a free lunch where he had a good time with the co-eds. VOLS will land Malone

can we not in theory sign more than that, as long as we are down to 85 at the specified time?
i believe bama engages in some type of similar process to this.

not saying it is "ethical", but is it "possible"?

I think we land Malone in the end too. He's been to UT many many times the last couple of years and some of his good friends will be Vols. I think he's just doing his due diligence. Plus, he doesnt participate in social media and he's hard to read so people freak out.

What a difference a year and coach makes... Last years we will looking to compete against Gardner Webb and Central FL for Talent and it was a struggle.... to gain commitments. :rock:

the question, although probably easily answerable, would be what do we do with the Berry twins if we get to a number crunch, since they aren't "as good as they were supposed to be"

I like all of this, but I do not think we loose Wolf. I think he just kind of wanted to explore his latest scholarship offer from Bama. I know Coach Jones doesn't like this, but I think with 17&18 year old kids it's bound to happen.
