Last Play of GA Game

Correct but having a spy waiting for a QB scramble was head scratching.

Should have put another DB at the goal line

Didn't notice that until I just watched it again. You're right. Makes zero sense to spy the QB when they had to go 35 yards. Either rush or cover.

Mentioned this in another post but wanted to congratulate you guys on the win. Dobbs was easily the difference in the game and light years ahead of Greyson Lambert as a QB and it showed when each team needed a play to be made.

Now, does anyone know a Vol fan named AJ Hammond (I think that's the name)? Just wondering because anyone who can pop on twitter after a great player suffers a pretty nasty knee injury and say something along the lines of "good, I hope it ends his career" needs some mental help.

That's a trash move right there. I felt really bad for the kid and wish him a speedy recovery.

So, in a sense, we did only have 10 on the field. One guy was in no man's land and might as well have been standing in the middle of Time's Square watching the game on the side of a building.

what scares me about that play is that we knew they would go for the goal line. We knew their qb prefers throwing the sideline (based upon his successful throws during the game) and the CB still got beat badly.
Had we not dropped back the extra coverage 15 yards, that was a score.
a real weakness has been exposed.
Great win, and it could not have come at a better time, but
We better fix that by Bama game.

First of all...Great Win. GO VOLS !!! I am so proud and happy for the kids.

Question: Did anyone notice that the last defensive playcall of the game was the same as FL? Rush 3 and drop everyone else back into coverage.

We finally made a play to get a win, but just scratching my head on the call. If the same play, I thought the coaches would have learned by now....

Go Vols !!!

Execution. The players executed that play as it was designed. Now you don't have to blame the coaches.

And as a fanbase we appreciate all the prayers for the kid. Chubb is a fantastic human being on top of being a great player. I also have huge respect for seeing the tweets come out from Hurd and Fournette for him.

GOD I wish our D could have gotten just a couple more important tackles on Dobbs!!!!:crazy::crazy:

TDawg, you have to be concerned that UGA gave up 38 points for two weeks in a row. I really thought they would be great on defense this year. Prayers for Chubb.

Unfortunately, asswipes are born everyday and some of them live in Spalding County :ermm:

Spalding County Deputy Sheriff A J Hammond, who Tweeted his hopes that Nick Chubb's career is over, has deleted his Twitter account

Very .. but most of realistically knew that the defense would be really young and make some mistakes. Pruitt has been benching and getting rid of a lot of Grantham players (you will find them on Grantham's current squad at Louisville or "We played somewhere else U" which is Auburn). I thought they would struggle somewhat, I just never thought the QB situation would be so bad. I think if they would have started Ramsey and got him experience early, he would have been the better option.

But yes, the defense has had it's share of lapses too .. lots of talented Sophs and Freshman and 2016/2017 kids coming too .. thanks again.

And he is a sheriff.....

Remove his ass from public service now.

Sheriff's deputy .. and I think the message indicates that he quit a month ago but still was identifying as a deputy with that agency

Thanks for posting this .. dude deserves a trip down a back ally with the Dawgs offensive line.

Is there an address to send Chubb a card wishing him the best?

I hate to see these kids get injured no matter what colors they wear. When CBS showed the replay, I got emotional for the guy. And then to hear what a class act and exceptional young man he is, that just iced the cake.

You do know, Georgia had one chance and one chance only. That was to throw to the endzone. Are you people real.

With this kind of thought process, Mr. A.J. Hammond doesn't need to be in a position to betray the public trust as he WILL eventually do !!! I wouldn't trust him in a shiz house with a muzzle on after showing such callous regard for a young man working hard to further his education while earning National Respect for his athletic talents & hard work !!! People like Mr. Hammond tarnish the the names of all the good officers who risk their lives daily protecting & serving for the public good !!! The only thing I want to see hurt is Vol opponent feelings !!!

I believe there is something on the georgiadogs.com website with the address .. may be to the ADs office but I am pretty sure it's on there.

Saw on a Georgia board where a fan described the turf as terrible. I've noticed an unusual number of slips and falls this year. Anyone else?

Total classless comment and I'm embarrassed as a TN fan. Having said that, all fan bases have their idiots and TN is no different than GA, FL, AL ect.
