Also for you all keeping score at home, 30% of the 72 players they are bringing have never traveled to an away game. Didn't say anything about planes though.

Sounded like he isn’t comfortable, worried, and not relaxed.
Pruitt is relaxed, comfortable, calm, cool, collective, and is ready to go.
Had to go back six years to watch film?😂👀
Went back to Alabama film as well.

Seems like he is going through the natural state of the body's sympathy response. That is when a person gets nervous, fear, anxiety, etc. and they get very thirsty. lol

Holgorsen needs to give up on that failed hairline, and just embrace a set of trimmers set to 1-3 mm, otherwise he's going to continue to look like an amalgam of West Virginia DUI checkpoint arrest mugshots in all of his photos.

"The anticipation (of this game) has been lingering for quite some time; I put it at about 5 years."

The "5 years" part, I take that as a compliment; the "lingering" part, I take that as a full-spring-and-summer's-worth-of-long-worry on his behalf.

Here is my take on both videos:

Holgerson is feeling some pressure. Just watching his body language, and listening to some of his word choices, he may feel his job is on the line this year.

He doesn't want to admit that this is an important game for him. Crosses his arms and takes a defensive body language when he is talking about looking forward to the game and liking some of his new players and looking forward to seeing them play.

Crosses his arms again talking about recruiting. Isn't comfortable and is defensive about recruiting for some reason. Finally admits this is a big event and big game for them.

Again, takes a defensive body language talking about the offense and their ability to adjust. Eases up when talking about some of his players.

Is really defensive and guarded by default. Crossing arms and taping fingers, wanting to get out of there. Appears comfortable talking about Pruitt and his first game, but when he transitions to talking about himself and being anxious to seeing if he himself has approved as a coach, he goes into his defensive body language.

Drops into it again talking about the Offensive lineman having an issue with the mental aspect of the game. Mentions that this a big game again.

Starting to fidget and pick, scratching at chest and arms. Looks like a crack addict jonesing for a fix. Jeez.....

--------------------------------

Pruitt is built differently. He has an intensity but does not give off an air of worry. He does have a tell in that eyebrow. You can tell when he is phoning it in on an answer verses when he has an emotional attachment to a subject.

For example, he shows some irritation at the continuing questions about depth, who is playing, injury, etc. Same type of irritation talking about the plethora of rules about who can be in the booth, on the headset, etc.

Definitely has adjusted to answering questions, but this is not what he enjoys. He can get excited when he starts talking x's and o's (or talking about his brother coaching), but most of this is a waste of his time in his eyes. He could be off coaching or studing film... I don't mean that in a bad way either.

Here is the last media availability for CJP and the latest one for Dana Holgerson. Interesting watch if you have time to see both.

wahahahahah. watch the press conference of the WVU coach. Seriously watch it. Skip the questions he answered, though those are interesting also, his whole intro was making excuses. We don't have a clue what ot expect. We haven't had much time to prepare. then anticipation for this game is the most in recent memory and has built up the past 5 years. He is building excuses for a loss.

The scary part. He seems to at least know our strengths more than we sometimes do. The fact he singled out Calloway and JJ is interesting. The fact he noticed that WR is a strength on the offense, interesting. this from an offensive minded coach. He noted our front line as a strength (I agree). he noted the size and speed of our defense (though we discount that part). He is scared. but his most important comment showed he gets it. They will be more motivated under this new staff than last year. That should scare them and all the the SEC. At least this guy ain't dumb. he has spent the past few weeks paving the path for his excuse for a loss and that makes me happy.
