Last game of the season to be played, do you think Phil Fulmer knew what he was doing hiring Pruitt now?

I'm ecstatic that Pruitt has turned this year around and the team has improved but let's pump the brakes since this is just his 2nd year.

Remember we were all aboard the Butch train ending 2015 and entering 2016.

That’s because Butch’s time leading up to that point went as well as they could have. Overachievement in 2015 set the stage for us to be playoff contenders in 2016

Yeah, after everyone except Leach turned us down and yet Fulmer didn't feel around the bottom of the apple barrel because there were so many apples hanging on the tree! He got what was left and what was left had us in a losing record his first year and losses against Georgia State and BYU in his second. Not only that but, has not beat anyone of significance this year but have delivered us moral victories, however.

Yeah, Fulmer knew what he was doing, alright. Maybe this works out or maybe it doesn't. Either way he is attached to Pruitt.

Did you forget how to smile?

In the context of knowing what he's doing...Pruitt wasn't exactly choice #1. I love Pruitt. We have shown progress. But Fulmer clearly had other intentions.

Everyone does realize we didn’t beat anyone of note this year right? We will have won games against two bowl eligible teams.

I partly agree with your point but everybSEC team we’ve beaten so far was perfectly capable of beating up. Winning four in a row, five out of six, if nothing to sneeze at for this team.

I like Fulmer better as an AD than a coach, as far as choosing coaches. The Pruitt hire, the Barnes protect and hiring Kellie all go on the plus side for him. I have games to watch, lots of games, no complaints here.
in hind sight I missed Fulmer as a coach..but thats just me seeing more wins then losses.

Still not sold on Pruitt. Im not against him but Id like to see him do some things better. If he wins 10 of the next 14 games (with one of those wins being Florida)…. im all in. I really want to see 11 of the next 14 but seeing as how I don't know who we will play in a bowl game this year, I wont say its a must win yet.
