In all my years as a Vol fan, I have never been so glad to see a season end. If good fortune shines on us today and we win the day, I'm glad we'll be going to a bowl for the sake of the seniors and the positive effect it will have on the program. However if we dont, I wont be too terribly heartbroken because I'm ready to put this season behind me and forget it ever happened.

Yet you came back after last season. This season was much better than last IMO. Improvement most every week, two SEC wins, statistically better in a lot of categories. We all want the same thing but have different ideas of how and when we should get there but overall I'm happy with the job Pruitt has done this season. I look for us to come out and get this W today, call me crazy but I feel we've been better on the road than we have at home this season(another improvement) and I just think we get it done.

Last year was way worse, we did alright in a transition year with many transition players or players lacking the SEC required level of S&C. But we did some catching up and hopefully a couple more wins await us this season. And 15 more practices for the OL.

I saw a lot of improvement this year. Yea, they threw in some duds but I see good things in the future for this team and program. OP must really be a negative Nancy if he thinks this year is worse than last year.

The season has been difficult for everyone. That being said I will always be sad when the season is over. I will miss the games on Saturday, watching the players/ how they perform, who emerges as players, how the coaches manage the game, the Vol fans, the band, the tailgates --- everything. I will miss it all - both the good and the bad. And yes, I will suffer in grace. Let the recruiting begin!!!!!

If we lose today I will either have to start drinking the hard stuff again or I will have to stay off this website until Fall. There will be people yelling to fire the entire staff, hire Gruden or whomever. This place is like my ex-wife. She couldn't make her mind up either. One week we have Moses and parting of the Orange sea. The next week we need to fire everyone. lol
Got to love a battered Vol Fan.
