Yeah, he died in '01. Actually the first episode of Leonard's Losers, unbelievably, was in 1958.

Gone, but not forgotten. I'm glad that one day I asked a beer store owner if I could have the Leonard's Losers poster out of the window. I've got it framed now, although just in a cheap poster frame. But anyhow, it rocks!

Leonard was very entertaining and I would look forward to his show every week before game day. He had a nice southern accent and was very creative in his poetry as he orated his predictions. Very much unlike the loud and conceited blabbermouths we have to listen to now on sports talk.

Leonard Post Toasties always seemed to be a little too partial to those Red Clay Hounds from Athens but I really miss his "pigskin prognostications"....
